Have you ever wanted to experience the old version of Minecraft with friends, or play newer Minecraft mods in Alpha or Beta? Now you can! This mod is designed for those who want to want to add mods to their nostalgic experience, or for people who simply want to play an older version of Minecraft without the bugs. Along with the alpha/beta feel, you can defeat the Ender Dragon and explore the end cities!
This is a collection of other's mods and resource packs (alongside some of my own work) designed to revive nostalgic Minecraft.

FAQ:
Q: Why does my world always generate with the same seed?
A: Random seeds provided in-game do not work! To change the seed, open Modern Alpha (or Modern Alpha Plus)/data/minecraft/dimension/overworld.json and update the two "seed" fields to your desired numeric seed! (Pasted from Modern Alpha Plus).
Q: Will you update this mod to X version?
A: Not unless every mod receives an update, or I find alternatives. On the other hand, I may be able to backport to 1.12 using different mods.
Q: Where can I configure the mods?
A: Click on mods at the title screen and click one a mod you wish to configure. Some mods do not have an option to, while others are more complicated. I would suggest looking at the developer's page on how to configure X mod.
Q: Will there be a Fabric port?
A: Yes, I plan on creating a modpack for Fabric in the future.
If I failed to mention any resource packs or missed any textures, sounds, item names, etc., please let me know and I will give proper credit!
