ZeroBlast
ZeroBlast is a Fabric performance mod for Minecraft Java 26.3 built for huge TNT experiments. Normal explosions keep the vanilla calculation path. When an extremely dense connected vanilla-TNT mass starts chaining, ZeroBlast switches to a bounded high-throughput mode that prevents thousands of individual explosions from freezing the integrated server.
Highlights
• Fast dense TNT chains instead of a multi-minute explosion backlog
• Spatial coalescing turns tens of thousands of internal dense-chain events into a small number of visible, terrain-affecting grouped blasts
• Virtualized TNT stays visible as blocks through its fuse and disappears only when its grouped blast fires; real primed TNT remains visible at detonation
• A configurable sample of real primed TNT entities still flies, receives explosion knockback, and uses normal network interpolation
• Adaptive particle and TNT-render budgets protect client FPS
• Server-side tick budgeting keeps chunks, players, and networking responsive
• Works in singleplayer and on Fabric dedicated servers
• Fabric API is not required
Compatibility
Only the exact vanilla TNT block enters dense acceleration. Custom TNT blocks retain their own block and entity logic. ZeroBlast has been startup-tested with Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, and C2ME for Minecraft 26.3. No mod can promise compatibility with every third-party mod, so include latest.log and the full mod list when reporting a conflict.
Accuracy modes
Normal and sparse explosions use the vanilla algorithm with allocation optimizations. Dense acceleration is intentionally not tick-for-tick identical: it groups the internal blasts while retaining moving real TNT and keeping virtualized TNT blocks visible until their scheduled detonation. Set denseChainAcceleration to false in config/zeroblast.json when strict vanilla mechanics matter more than extreme-scale throughput.
Installation
Install Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer for Minecraft 26.3 and place the JAR in the mods folder. Install it on the server for server-side acceleration and on clients for adaptive visual budgets. Restart Minecraft after changing the configuration.
