🌡️ World Preview Temperature Addon
Add a biome base temperature visualization to your world generation previews and better understand how temperature shapes your terrain.
World Preview Temperature Addon is an unofficial Forge 1.20.1 addon for World Preview that adds a temperature map mode, allowing you to visually inspect biome base temperatures directly in the preview screen.
This addon requires World Preview and extends its UI and rendering options.

⭐ Recommended Mods
Temperature Bands (by CosmicDan)
Strongly recommended for best results.
Temperature Bands changes how climate and temperature gradients are organized, making the temperature map view significantly more informative and visually consistent when exploring world generation.
This addon works perfectly without it, but Temperature Bands greatly enhances the experience.
⚙️ Configuration
All options are available directly inside World Preview → Settings → General:
Enable biome temperature viewBiome temperature: oceans as gray
Both options default to true for new configs or missing fields.

This addon works with both vanilla and heavily modded biome setups.
Showcase images use mods like Terralith, Biomes O' Plenty, Tectonic, TerraBlender, and Temperature Bands, but none of them are required.
