What's That Slot
This mod is a simple utility that allows you to query which items can be placed in a specific slot by holding down Left-Alt. The mod supports both Forge and Fabric- make sure to select the right file!
This is particularly useful in modded environments where it may not be clear what items can be placed in a modded GUI.
Relevant items can also be quickly transferred from your inventory by clicking on them in the query window:
This mod works client-only, so it does not need to be installed on the server to run!
This Was featured on a AsianHalfSquat video and that is why I'm downloading it

Can we have option to blacklist items entirely. Like the ones are hidden and banned in modpacks?
In reply to muraokun:
I can definitely take a look into this. As an aside, the mod should only display items that are displayed in the creative menu- is there a specific mod being used to hide items from the creative inventory that is not applying here? I can look into adding support for that specifically too.
In reply to gegy1000:
The best way to use JEI/REI to find wich items are awaylable there. There is a lot of tools to disable banned/creative items from them, so could be better to support that. Or just a blacklist of items id.
Super nice you updated the mod. Do you consider to backport to 1.16.5?
In reply to Taknax:
I've just pushed some releases for this :)
In reply to gegy1000:
Thanks for your work. I love it.
Would this work with the mod Backslot and Backslot Addon?
