You can teleport cross-dimensions. Of course you could mask it to look like netherrack
The teleporter on the left (from previous image) is now masked with stonebricks. The mask can be any block in the game.

This mod adds teleporter walls to the game.
Once placed down, you can configure them with a location using a GPS Chip. This location will be the destination of the teleporter. To teleport, supply the teleporter with ender pearls or ender essence and just walk into the block.
You will need a teleporter base as a minimum but can make the teleporter larger by placing teleporter walls connected to the base. The walls + base will act as a multiblock.
Well if you truly hate the look of the teleporters then you can right click them with any block to 'mask' the block as that type of block. Each wall block can be masked individually.
