Voltany

Voltany is a small Botania addon. It adds the one thing the base mod is missing: a way to turn Forge Energy into mana.

Botania can push mana out as FE (the Flux Field), but there's no clean way back. So if you run a tech mod and want your power to feed your flowers, you're stuck. Voltany is that bridge.

Mana Generator

The core block. Feed it Forge Energy from any source (any FE generator or cable, it isn't tied to a specific mod) and it builds up mana in an internal buffer, then pushes it into a nearby mana pool.

How much it makes depends on the flower in its slot: no flower: a small trickle

• a mystical flower: more
• a generating flower like Endoflame, Gourmaryllis or Dandelifeon: a lot more, scaled by how strong that flower is

The flower sets the tier, the upgrades take it from there.

Upgrades

Four upgrade slots, mix and match:

• Overclock I/II/III raises generation. The top tier also lets you stack up to 8 flowers in the slot.
• Mana Dispersion I/II/III sends mana to every pool within 5, 15 or 30 blocks instead of just one.
• Efficiency Core lowers the FE cost per mana.
• Spark Resonator lets a Mana Spark sit on top and pull mana into the spark network.

Hold a Wand of the Forest and look at the generator to read its stored mana, same as a pool.

• Requires Botania. Works with any mod that provides Forge Energy.
