Shared changes
- Enable terrain batching for fresh configurations so the existing optimization is available from the first launch.
- Add the High FPS label and clearer English/Turkish setting help. Performance depends on scene and hardware.
- Respect existing saved preferences, including an explicitly disabled terrain batching setting.
- Retain the compact interface, normal Minecraft font, transparent background, monochrome colors and subtle grey button borders.
- Disable conflicting native renderer interventions when Sodium or Iris supplies the renderer. Compatibility does not imply an additional FPS gain.
New in Minecraft 26.1 / Vectors 1.5.0-alpha.3
- Add guarded OpenGL multi-draw-indirect terrain submission on compatible hardware, with native fallback for unsupported capabilities or unrecognized terrain shader sources.
- Reuse owned section-uniform snapshots when camera and terrain layout are unchanged.
- Reduce synchronous OpenGL state queries in the clean native renderer path; use conservative queries with unknown mods.
- Preserve native NVIDIA submission by default on 26.1, fixing the costly default inherited from the earlier adapter. Saved user preferences are preserved.
- Preserve Minecraft terrain meshes, native translucent order, lighting and biome colors, with explicit resource cleanup.
This new submission backend is currently shipped only for exact Minecraft 26.1. The 26.1.1, 26.1.2 and 26.2 builds retain their earlier native draw-list adapters. Minecraft 26.3 retains its existing version-specific terrain backend. These JARs do not all contain the same renderer implementation.
Validation and measured limits
Fresh terrain-batching defaults were checked on the actual five release JARs. Earlier isolated singleplayer validation is included per target. The 26.1 release additionally passed GPU uniform readback, native draw-record matching, camera/rebuild/resource-lifecycle checks and a separate Sodium coexistence check. Core suites: 15 tests passed.
The 26.1 equal-quality comparison used the same normal-world fixture and camera on an RTX 5070 / i5-14600KF, 1280x800, view 16, VSync off and unlimited FPS. Four variants were launched in both orders, producing 32 raw 15-second samples. Mean FPS improved by 21.7–48.8% over Fabric. Both Vectors launches exceeded both Sodium launches in the coastal woodland and controlled transition scenes. Buildings and glass overlapped launch variation; buildings 1% low was below Sodium. All-scene Sodium superiority is not established.
Those 26.1 measurements do not establish performance on 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 or 26.3. The included 26.2 build has passed functional validation; a performance advantage for it is not certified here. Low-end hardware and Iris runtime testing remain outstanding.
Installation and publishing
Choose only the JAR inside the folder matching your exact Minecraft version. Requires Java 25, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer and matching Fabric API. These files are client-side Fabric builds; Forge and NeoForge builds are not included.
Remove the old Vector/Vectors JAR before installing the matching replacement. Do not install all five JARs together. Select only the exact Minecraft target shown above when uploading each file. Preserve its actual version number; this collection is not a single 1.5.0-alpha.3 release for all game versions.
Terrain batching starts enabled with a fresh configuration. An existing saved OFF choice stays OFF; enable it in Optimization if needed.
