Description
Vectors, previously named Vector, is a client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 26.3. It focuses on reducing repeated rendering work while keeping visual workload controls optional. Minecraft still builds the terrain meshes; Vectors optimizes parts of the rendering path around them.

Use it on its own or alongside Sodium 0.9.2. With Sodium installed, conflicting native terrain hooks are disabled and compatible shader and animated-texture optimizations take over. Those two Sodium optimizations stay disabled when Iris is installed.
Press F8 to open the settings panel, view frame times or run a benchmark. The interface keeps Minecraft's regular font, translucent backgrounds and a compact layout. The Compatibility page explains the applied optimization policies and shows session counters, including features disabled for compatibility.
Performance comparisons
The comparison images use measurements recorded under the former name Vector 1.4.3, before the rename. They are not new benchmark results for Vectors 1.4.4.
Across five matching scenes, the reference version recorded higher average FPS than the Fabric baseline and Sodium. Sodium had better 1% lows at normal resolution, so improving frame-time consistency remains a priority.
In the separate 13,312 × 8,320 glass/water test:

Tests used an RTX 5070 and i5-14600KF, matching saved worlds, cameras and visual settings, with VSync off and unlimited FPS. Optional terrain batching was enabled for standalone Vector. Each scene and setup had two 15-second measurements in separate launches, with reversed order and all rounds included. Results depend on hardware and scene; actual low-end PC gains have not been measured.
