UltraVein 1.2.2 [Fabric + Quilt 26.1-26.1.2]
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
1.2.2
New: Deep Harvest Enchantment
- An enchantment vein mining can require. In
/ultravein config→ the new Enchant tab: Require Enchantment ON means vein mining only works with a tool that has Deep Harvest. Without it, only the block you hit breaks and the HUD says Needs a Deep Harvest tool. - Three levels: each level may mine a share of Max Blocks – 50 % / 75 % / 100 % by default, adjustable per level with − / +.
- Your own name: Rename gives the enchantment any name you like (from Minecraft 1.21 on it shows after a server restart).
- Which tools: Enchantable Items opens the item list – ids, patterns like
*_pickaxeand item tags like#minecraft:pickaxes. Default: pickaxes, axes, shovels and hoes, modded ones included. - Where to get it: Enchanting Table, Librarian Villagers and Chest Loot can each be switched on or off. While the enchantment is not required it cannot be found anywhere.
- Works on every version from 1.18 to 26.3 on Fabric, Quilt, Forge and NeoForge. From 1.21 on the enchantment comes as a small built-in data pack that UltraVein writes from your config; changes apply right away.
- Console:
/ultravein rule enchantRequired|enchantName|enchantInTable|enchantFromVillagers|enchantInLoot|enchantLevel1-3 <value>,/ultravein enchantitems list|add|remove|clear.
New: Choose Where Drops Land
- Drop Location in Gameplay replaces Drop at Player Position and has three settings: Player (default, as before – everything comes to you), Mined Block (all drops and XP of the whole shape land in one pile on the block you hit) and Block Position (drops stay where each block was).
- New config key in
ultravein-server.json:dropAtOrigin(only counts whiledropAtPlayeris off). Console:/ultravein rule dropAtOrigin <true|false>.
New: Hunger Cost
- Hunger Cost: ON / OFF in Gameplay – vein mining makes you hungry depending on how many blocks go. Off by default.
- Hunger per Block sets how much: from 0.025 to 2 hunger points per block (a point is half a drumstick; 0.05 = one point per 20 blocks). Saturation is used up first, just like sprinting. Creative mode is never charged.
- Tool Hunger: Off (every tool costs the same), Standard (by material: wood x1.5, stone and gold x1.25, iron x1, diamond x0.75, netherite x0.5 – modded tools by their durability) or Custom with your own list: Tool Hunger List → Edit sets a factor per tool or pattern.
- New config keys:
hungerCost,hungerPerBlock,toolHungerMode,toolHungerFactors. Console:/ultravein rule hungerCost|hungerPerBlock|toolHungerMode <value>,/ultravein toolhunger list|set <factor> <tool>|remove <tool>.
New: Limits in the Config Screen
- Max Blocks (Vein), Max Blocks (Shapes), Max Distance, Tunnel 1x1 Length, Tunnel 3x3 Length and Staircase Length can now be set in Gameplay – no more editing the file and reloading. Click the right part of the button to raise a value, the left part or right click to lower it.
- Console:
/ultravein rule <maxBlocks|maxShapeBlocks|maxDistance|tunnel1x1Length|tunnel3x3Length|staircaseLength> <number>.
Server Owners and Players
- Everything on Gameplay, Filters and Enchant is server-wide: the host sets it in single player and on LAN, operators set it on a dedicated server right in the config screen – Save & Apply sends it to the server, which saves it to
ultravein-server.json(checked on a dedicated server, also across a restart). - Players without permission see these settings greyed out; hovering one says Only the server owner or an operator can change this. Their own settings (Client & Visuals, shown/hidden shapes) stay theirs.
- On a server running an older UltraVein the new settings stay greyed out with a note, instead of failing.
