Worn lavastone and waterstone show their lava and water, as on 1.7.10, with the water drawn through the carving's open gaps. Every Chisel carving - and most mods' blocks - now wears its own pixels rather than its family's stock texture, which is what the liquid is painted into, and Chisel's waterstone and ice wear as ground at all, where they had been passed over.
Wearing them at their own size costs no loading time. It puts Chisel's textures into the atlas in four sizes, and the game's own stitcher takes nearly three minutes over that; this release gives it a shortcut that takes under a second, so a pack with Chisel loads its textures in about eleven seconds.
All of Chisel's lava and water can move on worn ground. The memory allowed for moving layers,
client.innerLayerAnimationBudgetMb, is 128 megabytes by default on this edition, where 64 kept eight of
Chisel's sixty-four faces still; a config from an earlier release that still holds 64 is raised once.
The four settings for these layers now give Chisel for 1.12.2's own figures.
Worn shapes follow 1.7.10 exactly: how deep a rut is drawn, the outline you see when you look at worn ground, which blocks wear as slabs, and how snow rests on a worn block.
An early build is told when its release is out, and a build marked bad tells its players so and names the build to use instead.
A larger block atlas, if you ask for it. client.largerAtlas, off by default, lets the wear use an
atlas up to 16384 pixels square where your graphics card says it can address one - with Chisel, every
ramp at full detail. Its description says what it costs and what a card that cannot hold one does.
"Color", never "colour". /trmt mapcolour is now /trmt mapcolor, and the desire-path color you set
is carried over to the setting's new name, client.desirePathColor.
