TOBI's Item Tubes
A lightweight item transport mod with buffered intakes and configurable filtered outputs for simple, efficient storage networks.
TOBI's Item Tubes adds a lightweight and straightforward way to move items between storage containers without complicated machines, power systems, or expensive crafting requirements.
Build connected tube networks, feed items into a Tube Intake, and route them into chests, barrels, or other compatible inventories using configurable Filtered Tube Outputs.

- Filters are virtual and do not consume the selected items

- Items remain safely buffered when destinations are full
- Breaking an intake safely drops its buffered contents
- Cached and bounded network scanning for efficient server performance
- Networks do not force-load unloaded chunks

How to Use

Connect your storage area using regular Item Tubes.

Feed items into the blue Tube Intake using a hopper or another compatible item transporter.

While holding a green Filtered Tube Output, right-click directly on the face of the chest, barrel, or inventory you want it to connect to.

Right-click the placed Filtered Tube Output to open its filter menu.

Click items into the filter slots to select what should enter that container.

Leave an output's filters empty to use it as a default destination for unmatched items.
Crafting
- 8 Item Tubes: 4 Glass Panes, 4 Iron Nuggets, and 1 Redstone Dust
- 2 Tube Intakes: 1 Item Tube and 1 Iron Ingot
- 2 Filtered Tube Outputs: 1 Item Tube, 1 Redstone Dust, and 1 Iron Nugget
The Tube Intake and Filtered Tube Output recipes are shapeless.
