TOBI's Chunk Anchor
A lightweight timed chunk loader with owner-safe controls, selectable chunk radius, and a player hologram.
TOBI's Chunk Anchor is a lightweight timed chunk loader for when you need an area to stay loaded without leaving it running forever.
Place an anchor, open it, choose how long you want it active, and choose how many chunks you want loaded.
Timer Options
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
- 2 hours
Chunk Radius
- 1x1 - Loads the chunk the anchor is placed in
- 3x3 - Loads the anchor's chunk and the 8 chunks surrounding it
How to Use
Place a Chunk Anchor and interact with it to open its menu.
From there you can choose the timer and chunk radius, then activate it. The menu shows whether the anchor is active and how much time is remaining.
You can also stop an active anchor early if you don't need it anymore.
Only the player who placed the anchor, or a server operator, can control it.
Each player can have one active Chunk Anchor at a time. Activating another one will release the chunks from the previous anchor.
The anchor also displays a small hologram of its owner's player skin above it.
Crafting
The Chunk Anchor is crafted with:
- 4 Iron Ingots
- 4 Redstone
- 1 Clock
Recipe:
Redstone | Iron | RedstoneIron | Clock | IronRedstone | Iron | Redstone
No fuel is needed once the anchor is placed.
