Thunderbolt Core - Unofficial Forge 1.20.1 Port

Thunderbolt Core is the shared Applied Energistics 2 optimization and infrastructure layer developed for AE2 Lightning Tech. It can also be installed as a standalone AE2 crafting accelerator.

This project is an independently maintained, unofficial Forge 1.20.1 port of Thunderbolt Core 1.0.3. It is not an official upstream release, endorsement, or compatibility guarantee from the original authors.

Please use upstream when possible

If your Minecraft and mod-loader version is supported by the official project, use the official upstream Thunderbolt Core release instead:

Features

• Faster AE2 autocrafting planning and batch dispatch infrastructure.
• Crafting extension APIs for compatible addons.
• Overloaded-channel and matrix-crafting infrastructure used by AE2 Lightning Tech.
• Indexed storage, channel helpers, overload-pattern support, and Time Wheel CPU support.
• Optional compatibility hooks for Advanced AE, Neo ECO AE Extension, AE2 Crafting Tree, and ExtendedAE Plus.
• Preserves upstream package and API names where practical while adapting lifecycle registration, capabilities, saved data, synchronization, and Mixins to Forge 1.20.1.

• Forge 47.4.18 or newer
• Java 17
• Applied Energistics 2 15.4.10 through 15.x
• AE2 Unofficial Extended Life Modern 15.5.0-uelm is supported
• Install on both the client and server

Advanced AE and Neo ECO AE Extension integrations are optional.

r3 changes

• Lowered the Forge requirement to 47.4.18.
• Expanded the supported AE2 range to 15.4.10 through 15.x.
• Added a dedicated AE2-UELM 15.5.0-uelm build profile and verified that it produces the same distributable contents as the upstream AE2 profile.
• Includes all r2 compatibility fixes listed below.

Included r2 fixes

• Fixed the CraftingService Mixin conflict with CrazyAE2Addons 3.1.0.
• Remapped Time Wheel CPU menu lifecycle injections for production Forge mappings.
• Added the required Forge mod constructor.
• Avoided the SavedData ownership collision with AE2 Lightning Tech.
• Corrected Forge 1.20.1 CPU NBT Mixin descriptors.
