A playable demo of the Stellar Remote: a remote with one red button under a flip cover, wired to The Shooting Star, a series of weapons hanging far out in the dark. This demo carries two of them.

SS-01 · Railgun

Flip the cover, press the button. A red laser from space marks the ground in your crosshair. The camera flies up the laser, past the Earth, past Saturn, out of the Solar System and the whole Milky Way, to a railgun hanging just past the galaxy's rim. It charges, fires, and you ride the beam home. It lands as a beam 200 blocks in radius that cuts the entire column of the world away, from the build limit to the void, and everything inside it dies. If you stand in the strike zone you're evacuated into the sky first.

SS-04 · Seven Stars

The Big Dipper is projected onto the land around your crosshair: seven nodes, 360 blocks across. Out in Ursa Major its seven real stars wake as a stellar array and fire. Their shooting stars come down one by one, each digging a crater as wide as its star is bright and leaving a glowing star-core crystal in it. Then the constellation's lines ignite across the land as burning trenches, and the whole figure flares: the Big Dipper burned into your world. You stay where you stand, and the ground under your feet is spared.

How to use

1. Get the Stellar Remote from the creative tab The Shooting Star (Demo) (or the Combat tab).
2. K selects SS-01 and U selects SS-04, or press H for the skill menu (rebind keys there).
3. Right click to cast. Sneak + right click steps to the next skill.
4. J skips the film that's playing (or turns films off and on).

⚠️ Before you cast

• It permanently changes your world. SS-01 deletes a column 400 blocks wide down to the void; SS-04 leaves seven craters and seven trenches. Back up any world you care about.
• Photosensitivity warning: full-screen flashing impact frames (white/red, violet) and strobing light.
• Heavy post-processing shaders: a decent GPU is recommended. The first launch spends a moment compiling them.
