Become an Endless aspect and keep the world.

Release Focus

  • First Dream-focused beta package for normal play.
  • Core Dream gameplay loop finalized for practical singleplayer and multiplayer use.

What Is Playable

  • Sleep -> Dreaming entry -> scenario flow -> controlled exit back to waking world.
  • Dream-only power menu on V (non-Dream players do not open Dream UI).
  • Multi-page Dream control screens (Travel, Dreamers, Scenarios, Realm shaping, Status).
  • Dream bubble routing, bubble visit controls, and mood reshaping.
  • Player and resident (NPC proxy) flow for singleplayer fallback.

Dream Systems Included

  • Dreaming dimension with persistent travel return handling.
  • Personal dream bubbles with sealed boundaries and safer generation.
  • Serene/nightmare bubble moods, trees in both moods, and upgraded nightmare visuals.
  • Entry mood variation (serene or nightmare based on session outcome/state chances).
  • Scenario system with variety, anti-repeat behavior, progress hints, timeouts, and fail/reset messaging.
  • Continuous nightmare pressure handling for nightmare scenarios.
  • "No death in dreams" player protection: lethal hits in Dreaming are intercepted and force wake/return + cleanup.

Dream Holder Rules

  • Dream is CREATIVE inside Dreaming and SURVIVAL outside Dreaming.
  • Dream-forged provenance restrictions outside Dreaming: dream-forged items cannot be dropped, placed, used, or transferred.
  • Slot-lock behavior prevents Dream-forged inventory transfer tricks.
  • Waking-origin items remain normal and usable.

Ritual and Seat Lifecycle

  • In-world ritual path to become Dream is active.
  • Ritual start at sunset + full moon, full-night channel, altar validation, and fail/success handling.
  • Ritual coordinates are broadcast server-wide.
  • Ritual structure is removed on success/failure with no drops.
  • Dream seat inactivity behavior: when Dream holder disconnects, seat remains owned but inactive; Dream systems suspend safely.

Singleplayer Integration

  • Resident proxy system supports solo Dream gameplay when no real players are available.
  • Passive resident intake with configurable caps/rates.
  • Resident actions contribute to Dream duty/scenario progression.
  • Resident admin controls for testing and moderation.

Admin and Moderation Tools

  • Expanded /endless admin command coverage for Dream operations.
  • Dream status output focused on server/admin-relevant data.
  • Endless timer reset/admin controls available for moderation workflows.

Polish and Reliability

  • Crash-path fixes for scenario completion and forced wake/exit paths.
  • Better session cleanup on disconnect/dimension mismatch.
  • Fallback return routing when ideal return path is invalid.
  • Bubble rebuild cleanup removes dropped items after generation/reshape to reduce lag.
  • Dreaming ambiance pass outside bubbles: floating islands + ambient allays/axolotls for livelier realm atmosphere.
