The Endless Pantheon (Forge 1.20.1) Version 0.6.1 - Destiny Alpha Preview
Become an Endless aspect and keep the world.
Release Focus
- Introduces Destiny as a seventh playable Endless in alpha preview.
- Adds the first playable Destiny loop: ritual ascension, the bound Book of Destiny, page readings, selected-target readings, Blind Library travel, and early Cosmic Log duties.
- This is intentionally a taste of Destiny, not the final complete branch. The goal is to let players experience the identity and give feedback while the deeper duty/consequence layer grows.
What Is Playable
- Dream: Dreaming travel, bubbles, scenarios, duties, ritual path, and Dream governance systems.
- Death: half-dead lifecycle, rites, soul release loop, oath consequences, ritual path, and Sunless Shore travel.
- Destruction: Forge of Endings powers, duty/stasis loop, creation quota rules, and ritual claim path.
- Desire: Threshold powers, influence/contracts loop, duty pressure, ritual path, and showcase realm systems.
- Despair: Mirror Abyss travel, mark/harvest control loop, state pressure, ritual claim path, and loss framework.
- Delirium: Kaleidoscope travel, prismatic sight/focus play, route guidance, contradiction powers, wandering threads, hidden truths, visitor slips, ritual claim path, and seat-loss framework.
- Destiny (alpha preview): Book of Destiny readings, selected block/entity/player pages, advancement/stat-based player insight, mob/entity details, aspect-thread overview, Cosmic Log event pages, Blind Library travel, ritual claim path, and early seat-loss pressure.
Destiny Systems Added
- Added Destiny ascension ritual using an archive-like lectern setup.
- Added the bound Book of Destiny as Destiny's only normal held tool.
- Added readable Minecraft book UI pages for world, player, mob/entity, block/place, aspect-thread, omen, and recent-event readings.
- Added G-key selection so Destiny can mark a block, player, mob, or entity, then read that selected page later.
- Added page pagination so long categories continue onto extra pages instead of cutting off effects or future player data.
- Added Blind Library travel and a placeholder library platform so Destiny has a first realm destination.
- Added Destiny HUD/menu flow with Travel, Pages, Omens, and Cosmic Log sections.
- Added early Cosmic Log event tracking, sealing, trace, and integrity pressure systems.
- Added Destiny restrictions: Destiny is chained to the Book, cannot use normal inventory agency, and is pulled toward duty rather than combat.
Destiny Ritual Flow
- Go to the Overworld at night.
- Make sure the Destiny seat is vacant and you do not already hold another Endless seat.
- Build an archive around a lectern:
- the lectern must hold a written page
- at least 12 bookshelves or chiseled bookshelves nearby
- at least 7 lights from candles or soul lanterns nearby
- Hold a Nether Star in main hand.
- Hold a Recovery Compass or Eye of Ender in off hand.
- Sneak-right-click the lectern to begin reading the Unopened Page.
- Remain near the archive for the full channel without fighting, building, sleeping, dying, disconnecting, or leaving the Overworld.
- If successful, the Destiny seat is claimed and the player is pulled toward the Blind Library.
Destiny Alpha Notes
- Destiny is alpha-preview playable: enough is present to test the identity, not every planned duty, power, travel path, or lore layer.
- The Blind Library is currently a functional placeholder realm platform, not final worldgen.
- Destiny's future travel to dimensions/player threads is planned but not included in this alpha slice.
- Destiny is intentionally not a combat branch; feedback should focus on whether reading, selecting, and preserving pages feels meaningful.
- Main test areas:
- ritual reliability
- Book readability and page formatting
- G-key selection clarity
- player/mob/block reading usefulness
- right-click gameplay compatibility while holding the Book
- Blind Library enter/exit behavior
- Cosmic Log event trace/seal flow
Included Fixes And Polish
- Destiny's custom Book now opens through a proper client book-screen packet instead of relying on vanilla custom-item behavior.
- Right-click block/entity interactions no longer force-read pages, preserving normal gameplay interactions like doors, chests, and entities.
- Book pages now show player names for Endless holders where possible instead of raw UUIDs.
- Book categories now paginate dynamically so long readings can continue across multiple pages.
- Updated release metadata to include Destiny as a playable alpha branch.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Forge 47.x
- Java 17
Alpha Warning
- Always back up worlds before updating.
- This release is intended for public alpha testing of Destiny and continued stability testing of all seven branches.
