The Endless Pantheon
The Endless Pantheon is a Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge mod where players can ascend to immortal Endless and take responsibility for fundamental forces of the world. Each Endless has its own realm, powers, duties, and consequences that can reshape core mechanics like sleep, death, destruction, emotion, despair, chaos, and fate when neglected.
Designed for both singleplayer and multiplayer, the mod focuses on long-term progression, roleplay, and world-scale cause-and-effect.
About the mod
Become an Endless
Claim a unique cosmic role such as Dream, Death, Destruction, Desire, Despair, Delirium, or Destiny. Only one player can hold each Aspect in a world at a time, with immortality, true-death, and succession rules shaping who wields that power.
Rule your own realm
Each Endless has a themed realm or domain where they are at their strongest and can bend reality to their nature. Realm access is protected: another Endless cannot enter your realm uninvited through generic dimension travel.
Duties and consequences
Endless Aspects are not just power-ups. They come with ongoing duties that must be fulfilled to keep the world in balance. Neglect sleep, death, destruction, emotion, despair, chaos, or fate, and the universe compensates in extreme ways.
Singleplayer and multiplayer aware
Systems are designed to work both solo and on servers. Where duties reference other players, they can adapt to NPCs, structures, or world events so that a single player can still experience an Aspect's mechanics.
Configurable and modpack-friendly
Many thresholds and behaviors are configurable, and Destiny/Death generic dimension travel supports modded dimensions while protecting Endless realms.
Current progress
- The core Endless framework is active: seat system, holder data, world-state effects, immortality, true-death, and fated-death logic.
- Dream is beta-playable with Dreaming travel, bubbles, scenarios, duties, ritual path, and Dream governance.
- Death is beta-playable with half-dead lifecycle systems, rites, soul release duties, and oath consequences.
- Destruction is beta-playable with the Forge of Endings realm, duty/stasis loop, creation quota rules, and ritual claim path.
- Desire is beta-playable with The Threshold realm, influence/contracts systems, duty pressure, and ritual claim path.
- Despair is beta-playable with the Mirror Abyss realm, mark/harvest duty loop, state pressure, and loss framework.
- Delirium is beta-playable with the Kaleidoscope realm, prismatic sight, wandering-thread guidance, contradiction powers, ritual claim path, and seat-loss rules.
- Destiny is beta-playable with the Book of Destiny, selected player/entity readings, Blind Library travel, Cosmic Log duties, omens, dimension-thread travel, and ritual claim path.

How to become each Endless
Dream ritual
- Go to the Overworld at sunset during a full moon.
- Make sure the Dream seat is vacant and you do not already hold another Endless seat.
- Build the Dream altar and place a Respawn Anchor on top: 9x9 Iron, 7x7 Gold, 5x5 Emerald, 3x3 Diamond, and a Netherite core.
- Hold a Nether Star in main hand.
- Sneak-right-click the Respawn Anchor and survive until dawn while keeping the altar intact.
Death ritual
- Go to the Overworld at sunset during a full moon.
- Build the Death altar with Crying Obsidian, Ancient Debris, a Netherite core, and four Soul Lantern/Soul Soil pylons.
- Hold a Nether Star in main hand and a Totem of Undying in off hand.
- Sneak-right-click the Respawn Anchor and survive until dawn while the rite channels.
Destruction ritual
- Go to the Overworld at sunset during a full moon.
- Build the Destruction altar with Crying Obsidian, Ancient Debris, and an Obsidian core.
- Hold a Nether Star in main hand and TNT in off hand.
- Sneak-right-click the Respawn Anchor and survive until dawn while staying in range.
Desire ritual
- Go to the Nether at sunset during a full moon.
- Place a Lodestone inside a Bastion Remnant and wear full Netherite armor.
- Hold a Nether Star and complete the ritual objectives: eat 1 Enchanted Golden Apple, eat 8 Golden Apples, and barter with Piglins 24 times.
- Return to the same Lodestone with a Ghast Tear to finalize.
Despair ritual
- Go to an Ancient City in the Overworld.
- Place a Lodestone inside it and have the required death count.
- Hold a Nether Star in main hand and an Echo Shard in off hand.
- Sneak-right-click the Lodestone and remain inside the Ancient City until the ritual completes.
Delirium ritual
- Stay away from generated structures long enough to become eligible.
- On a new moon night, keep Nausea active and place a Sniffer Egg outside generated structures.
- Arrange every vanilla flower and sapling within the required radius around the egg.
- Hold a Nether Star, sneak-right-click the egg, then enter a generated structure before dawn while still nauseated.
Destiny ritual
- Go to the Overworld at night.
- Build an archive around a lectern: the lectern must hold a written page, with at least 12 bookshelves/chiseled bookshelves and 7 lights from candles or soul lanterns nearby.
- Hold a Nether Star in main hand.
- Hold a Recovery Compass or Eye of Ender in off hand.
- Sneak-right-click the lectern and remain near the archive for the full channel without fighting, building, sleeping, dying, disconnecting, or leaving the Overworld.
Destiny notes
- The Book of Destiny is Destiny's main tool and replaces normal inventory agency while the seat is active.
- Use G to select a player, mob, or entity, then open the Book to read that selected thread.
- Use the Destiny power menu to enter the Blind Library, read duties, seal pages, send omens, and follow written dimension/player threads.
