Live. Die. Be judged. Choose what you become.
Your story continues beyond death.
Soul’s Verdict: Heaven & Hell brings karma, judgment, supernatural transformation, and celestial politics to Minecraft. Your mortal deeds shape your afterlife. Beyond it lie the paths of Angels, Demons, and Fallen Angels—and the possibility of inheriting far greater power.
Fly above the world, walk the Silver City, enter Hell’s palace, and decide what your promises, freedom, and power mean to the people around you.
A soul shaped by its deeds
Your actions leave a record. Defending someone from danger, harming a peaceful creature, and killing an enemy carry different meanings. The karma system considers the circumstances of your deeds, while the Book of Deeds lets you look back on your recent choices.
When death comes, judgment leads you to a personal Heaven or Hell experience. Complete your time in the afterlife and return to the living world, where your journey continues.
Heaven, Hell, and the courts beyond mortality
Explore the luminous Silver City and the dark landscapes of Hell. Celestial sanctuaries, public courts, and an imposing infernal palace give supernatural beings places to gather, return home, and pursue their ambitions.
Hell’s palace rises from dark stone, with towering spires, warm-lit colonnades, a broad open courtyard, and a monumental gateway inspired by The Sandman. Mortal afterlife experiences occupy separate personal domains, while the public realms belong to a wider supernatural world.

Three paths beyond mortality
- Angels wield celestial strikes, heal and protect allies, reveal threats, and fly on luminous wings. Their path asks what it means to offer protection and mercy.
- Demons brand their enemies, draw power from those marks, cross the battlefield with Cinderstep, and manifest their infernal nature. Covenants, ambition, and allegiance shape their place in Hell.
- Fallen Angels retain their celestial origins while walking a path of exile and independence. Wield Sundering Flame, break restraints with Refusal, spread near-black wings, and bind a personal anchor in the living world.
Powered wing flight combines slow hovering and controlled ascent with fast horizontal flight, animated wingbeats, banking, and a forward flight pose.
Each form has its own core abilities. Optional specialisations—Guardian, Herald, Shepherd, Hound, Advocate, and Gatekeeper—add practical powers for protection, rescue, hunting, contracts, and passage. Stories unlock further techniques, from carrying a willing traveller to maintaining a route between remembered entrances.
Power above the ordinary
Through trials, deeds, audiences, and succession, your journey can lead to one of three exceptional identities:
- The Presence embodies creation, mercy, and protection. Establish peace, restore allies, shield companions, and create temporary shelter.
- The Lightbringer wields celestial fire and the power to shape a path forward. Forge a star, reveal hidden threats, free the bound, cross obstacles, and create temporary bridges.
- The Lord of Hell holds authority over the infernal realm. Sentence enemies, command horned retainers, establish dominion, and govern access to Hell’s public gates.
Your nature, allegiance, and throne remain distinct. A Demon can swear to another court while remaining a Demon. A Lightbringer can rule Hell without losing their celestial identity. Succession is a deliberate transfer of authority, and an existing player ruler must agree to hand over their seat.

Promises, freedom, and responsibility
Soul’s Verdict draws inspiration from the DC Sandman and Lucifer comics and their Netflix adaptations, telling original gameplay stories within Minecraft. Its themes include judgment, free will, exile, redemption, and the responsibilities that come with power.
Meet recurring travellers and petitioners. Hear rival claims, investigate disputes, rescue those in danger, recover entrusted relics, and decide who receives sanctuary. Your choices can earn trust, create rivals, or leave a broken promise to repair.
The Living Chronicle remembers relationships and completed activities. Rulers can hear petitions, choose court policies, and delegate matters to trusted residents. Recruitment and player pacts require the other person’s acceptance, and leaving a court can preserve your supernatural identity.
Will you serve a higher power, claim a throne, or choose an independent path?
