The Ember Atlas 0.1.0-alpha.6 - Frontier Commissions
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
0.1.0-alpha.6 - Frontier Commissions
- Adds permanent personal Hearthward and Pathfinder commissions after the first restored expedition, with different tasks, keeper dialogue and practical rewards.
- Finish Iona's Way Home survey, then supply the Hearthward workshop with eight copper ingots or chart a Pathfinder point at least 128 horizontal blocks from your recorded departure in your home dimension.
- Builder's Focus grants ten seconds of Haste II and Slow Falling. Trail Step grants Speed II and Slow Falling. Earned utilities work at home outside expeditions with a persisted 30-second cooldown. Sneak + R reports your current and recorded-home coordinates.
- Completed expedition returns award 1 plus bound risks in virtual reclaimed fragments, once per return. At camp, spend one fragment to add one Unbreaking level up to III and repair a quarter of an existing eligible vanilla tool, sword or armor piece. Existing names, other enchantments and components are preserved. Custom and unbreakable equipment are excluded.
- Adds Frontier journal controls and accurate utility cooldown guidance.
- Allows revising a never-departed loadout at camp to match co-op host risks without another starter kit or cooldown reset.
- Preserves emberatlas registry IDs, the Minecraft target and legacy schema-one reads. Malformed new campaign fields fail closed.
- Retains four encounter actors, eight-player enrollment and positional boss mechanics. No new runtime dependency or per-tick world scan.
Automated verification: 20 installed-JAR GameTests across 14 suites, 1,497 domain assertions, 35 validator regressions and five backed-up save-fault cases passed. These are headless checks.
Development Alpha: full graphical survival, two independently connected clients, human pacing and measured ordinary-computer performance remain unaccepted. Commissions are personal tasks/dialogue and utility; they do not automatically rebuild settlements. Fragments are a virtual balance. Vanilla player-file equipment/copper and world-ledger changes are not proven as a cross-file power-loss transaction. Back up the entire world before upgrading; downgrading is unsupported.
Minecraft Java 1.21.1, Java 21, Fabric Loader 0.16.14 and Fabric API 0.116.6+1.21.1 required on client and server.
