You will never lose your workstation ever again. With this mod, your crafting tables, chests, furnaces will follow you, but only when you aren't looking.
Still Behind You
Every workstation you place follows you whenever nobody is looking.
Put down a crafting table, walk away, and turn around later. It may be several blocks closer than where you left it.
You will never see it move. Neither will anyone else.
What else follows you?
Crafting tables, furnaces, chests, anvils, enchanting tables, brewing stands, lecterns, and other workstations you place become followers.
Only blocks you placed yourself are tracked. Naturally generated blocks stay where they are, and breaking a follower removes it from the system.
Followers remain still while anyone can see them. Once they have been out of sight long enough, they take a step toward their owner.
Nothing inside is lost
Followers keep their inventories and block data when they move.
- Lit furnaces remain lit and keep their smelting progress
- Fuel, items, names, and other stored data stay intact
- Double chests move together as one piece
- Blocks never move while their menu is open
They can follow you through portals
Followers can cross dimensions to continue following their owner.
Yes, this includes the Nether.
Make them stop
Craft a Restraining Order from one paper and one red dye. Right-click a follower with it to permanently anchor the block in place.
Sneak-right-click the block with an empty hand to remove the order. Breaking an anchored block also returns it.
No jump scares
There are no monsters, voices, sudden noises, or scripted scares.
A moving block only plays its normal placement sound at reduced volume. The mod never announces what is happening.

Configuration
Movement distance, delay, follower limits, portal travel, multiplayer visibility, third-person awareness, and movement sounds can all be configured.
Versions
Available for NeoForge, Forge, and Fabric on Minecraft 1.21.1 and 1.20.1.
The mod can run entirely server-side, allowing vanilla clients to connect. Third-person awareness requires the mod on the client; without it, players are treated as using first person.
Some people find this upsetting. I find it convenient. My ender chest is behind me right now, and it always will be.
