Description

Flavor Text

Flavor Text adds twenty food enchantments.

  1. Place food in the enchanting table.
  2. Bookshelves and stack size set the three available levels.
  3. Pay the normal one, two, or three lapis and levels.
  4. Every item in the stack comes out enchanted.

A single apple is a small level 1 job. A full stack in a complete library reaches levels 10, 20, and 30. Tooltips show the actual nutrition, saturation, eating speed, and stack changes before you take a bite.

Twenty enchantments

Any food

  • Gulp I to III: Eat noticeably faster.
  • Doggy Bag: Keep the enchanted stack when you die.
  • Everlasting: Never consume the food. Each stack has a thirty second cooldown.

Cooked food

  • Hearty I to III: Restore more hunger.
  • Rich I to III: Restore much more saturation.
  • Sated I to III: Gain Well Fed so hunger drains more slowly.
  • Restorative I to III: Clear harmful status effects when eating.
  • Sugar Rush I to III: Gain Speed after eating.
  • Battle Rations I to II: Gain Resistance when eating below forty percent health.
  • Second Helping I to III: Gain a chance that the food is not consumed.
  • Bottomless I to III: Eat while full and turn wasted nutrition into Absorption.
  • Banquet: Feed every player within thirty-two blocks at full value.

Raw food

  • Homegrown I to III: Gain a chance to recover the seed or sapling.
  • Beastfeast I to II: Feed, breed, tame, or heal animals with the enchanted food.
  • On The Go: Walk and swim at full speed while eating.
  • Big Bite I to II: Eat several items at full value in one animation.
  • Potluck I to II: Feed nearby players at half value and heal their pets.
  • Cornucopia: Regrow the stack up to its original enchanted size.

Curses

  • Curse of Gluttony: Keep eating until the entire stack is gone.
  • Curse of Blandness: Remove all saturation from the food.

The curses come from loot and cursed trades, not the enchanting table. Everlasting and Cornucopia are also kept out of normal table offers. A Master Butcher is their dependable source.

Compatibility

Enchantable Bottles uses Flavor Text's public batch-enchanting API on Minecraft 1.21.1. Food and bottles share one expanded slot, one level curve, and one enchanting table. Flavor Text works by itself.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.21.1 and Java 21
  • Forge 52 or newer, NeoForge 21.1 or newer, or Fabric Loader
  • Fabric API when using the Fabric build
  • Installation on both client and server
