Spawn More Mobs by la_lime_ace
Tired of peaceful walks under the moonlight? Wish skeletons would interrupt your mining trip even more often? This mod cranks up the monster spawn rates so your world is basically a 24/7 Halloween party. Expect more zombies, more creepers, more everything-that-wants-to-bite-you. Great if you enjoy chaos, explosions, and running for your life every five seconds.
Still not enough chaos for you? We heard you. This mod also adds /mobcap, a global monster spawn cap multiplier — because why settle for a few extra zombies when you can multiply ALL of them at once. This one messes directly with the game's internal spawn limits, so use responsibly (or don't, we're not your parents).

/mobcap Monster set [1-20] — multiply the monster spawn cap by the number of your choice. 20 turns every cave into a mosh pit.
/mobcap Monster get — check your current multiplier, in case you forgot how much suffering you signed up for.
/mobcap Monster reset — bring it back to your config file's value, for when your FPS starts begging for mercy.

Your setting is saved in a config file, so your chosen chaos level survives a restart. You're welcome (or sorry).
Worried your server is about to become a slideshow? We got you.
Cranking /mobcap to 20 is fun until your FPS drops to single digits. Here's a stack of mods that actually help, tested for NeoForge 1.21.1 (2026):
- Lithium — optimizes physics, mob AI, block ticking, and world generation logic without changing vanilla gameplay, giving 30-50% faster game logic. This is the one that actually helps with "350 monsters on screen" specifically.
- FerriteCore — reduces RAM usage by 40-50% compared to vanilla by deduplicating block state data. Doesn't fix TPS, but keeps your game from choking on memory when mob count gets silly.
- ModernFix — an all-in-one bundle for performance, memory, and bug fixes, compatible with the rest of this stack.
- Entity Culling — stops the game from rendering mobs it doesn't actually need to draw (behind walls, out of view), which matters a lot once your monster count goes up.
- Starlight — rewrites the lighting engine, helps a ton if your world is constantly generating new chunks because mobs are spawning everywhere.
Your CPU will thank you (your GPU, less so).
Feel free the leave a comment or a suggestion :D or use this mod 😁
