## [1.20.1-0.7.0] — July 11, 2026 This update fixes cursor movement when changing tabs and lets players hide the Settings tab. ### Fixed * The mouse cursor no longer jumps to the center of the screen when: * Switching between backpack tabs * Returning from a backpack to the inventory * Backpack tabs now open immediately instead of waiting one tick. * Container transitions still safely return crafting-grid items and carried items to the player. ### Added * Right-click the Settings gear tab and select **Hide Settings Tab** to remove it. * Added a **Show/Hide Settings Tab** keybind under: `Options > Controls > Sophisticated Tab` * Settings tab visibility is saved globally and applies across all worlds and servers. ### Changed * Improved and simplified the internal tab-switching and context-menu systems. * Existing preference files remain compatible and require no migration. ### Important The new Settings-tab keybind is unassigned by default. Bind it before hiding the gear tab if you want an easy way to restore it. If the tab is hidden without a keybind, either use the existing **Open Tab Settings** keybind or change `"settingsTabHidden"` to `false` in `tab_preferences.json`. Changes made through the keybind may appear the next time the inventory or backpack screen is opened.
