Sophisticated Backpacks - Digital Storages Expansion

Connect your Sophisticated Backpack to Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage, or Tom's Simple Storage. Send collected items straight to storage, replenish your building supplies, and draw food and consumables from your network while you play.

Each item upgrade can be linked to any of the three storage systems. Link it to the network you want to use, install it in your backpack, and configure it through its upgrade tab.

Your network, in your backpack

Remote Deposit

Clear space after a mining trip with a button in your backpack. Matching items go into the linked network, and filters let you keep the supplies you want to carry.

Remote Restock

Bring supplies from the linked network into your backpack with a button. Use filters to choose which items to retrieve.

Remote Pickup

Send matching items to the network as you pick them up. Choose whether the network or backpack receives them first.

Remote Magnet

Gather nearby item drops and send them to the network or backpack. Filters choose what to collect, and you choose which destination gets priority.

Remote Refill

Keep selected inventory slots stocked while you build or explore. It automatically replenishes them from the linked network or backpack, using your preferred source first.

Remote Feeding

Keep food ready without filling your inventory with meals. The upgrade feeds you from the network or backpack when hungry, using your food filters. You can also enable eating when hurt.

Remote Alchemy

Use configured consumables automatically when your chosen conditions are met. Choose what to use and whether to take it from the network or backpack first.

Remote Pump

Move filtered fluids between containers, nearby tanks or world fluids and your linked network or backpack tank. Choose the transfer direction and which storage to use first.

Linking an upgrade

Hold the upgrade and Shift-right-click a compatible storage block to link it, then place it in a backpack upgrade slot. Remote access respects your network's range and access rules, including its wireless setup.

Link the upgrade to another compatible block whenever you want to change networks. To remove its link, place the upgrade by itself in a crafting grid.

Craft each Remote Upgrade using its matching advanced Sophisticated Backpacks upgrade, diamonds, Ender Pearls, and redstone. It replaces the original upgrade for that function in your backpack.

Use one supported storage mod or several together. Each upgrade keeps the network you link it to, so different upgrades in the same backpack can serve different networks.
