Minecraft's soundtrack, on your terms.

Give every build, mining trip, and adventure the music you want to hear. Better Radio brings Minecraft's background tracks and music discs into a personal music player, with simple controls to skip, pause, and revisit your favorite songs.

Choose your mood

Free flow: Let the music find you as you explore, with a preference for background tracks that suit your biome.

Playlist: Build a mix of background music and discs, then play it on repeat or turn on shuffle. Choose its pace independently from Free flow, with a short 2–4 second pause by default. Your saved playlist follows you between worlds. Available in the NeoForge player.

Your music, within reach

Press F6 to open the player:

• Player tab: Follow the current track's progress, pause or resume, skip tracks, switch listening modes, toggle shuffle, and see what's coming next. Jump to a queued song whenever you want.
• History tab: Find a song you just heard, play it again, add it to the queue, or save it to your playlist.
• Playlist tab: Search the music library, add your favorites, and remove tracks from your mix.
• Settings tab: Choose separate intervals for Free flow and Playlist, adjust how strongly music follows your biome, and choose which mode starts with your world. Your preferences stay saved between sessions.

Background tracks and discs from compatible music mods can appear in your library too.

Default controls

Remap your shortcuts in Options → Controls → Key Binds → Better Radio. Adjust playback volume with the Music slider in Music & Sounds.
