# 🔧 Smart Backpacks 1.0.6 Hotfix Released!

Smart Backpacks 1.0.2 Hotfix is here with important fixes

## 🛠️ Fixes & Changes

* Fixed: a Fabric 26.2 crash when Forge Config API Port was installed.
* Reworked Fabric config loading to use a safe Smart Backpacks TOML config loader.
* config/smartbackpacksconfig.toml now generates automatically if missing.
* Invalid or incomplete config files now fall back to safe defaults instead of crashing.
* Forge Config API Port is now optional on Fabric and no longer required for config loading.
