SLS Reloaded is a client-side mod that replaces the black loading screen with a smooth fade from a screenshot taken when you last left a world or server. Instead of staring at a blank screen while chunks generate, you pick up right where you left off.
Based on Seamless Loading Screen by Minenash, rebuilt and maintained for modern Minecraft with support for both Fabric and NeoForge from a single codebase.
When you disconnect from a singleplayer world, Realm, or multiplayer server, the mod captures a screenshot of your current view. The next time you join that world or server, that screenshot is displayed during the loading screen and fades out as chunks finish generating — giving you a seamless transition back into the game.
This mod is client-side only. Install the jar that matches your loader.
Optional: Mod Menu for in-game config access.
Settings are powered by YACL and saved to config/sls_reloaded.json.
