Come say hi. Bug reports, feature requests, and help are all welcome.
Shurui's DMZ Dungeons is an addon to Shurui's DMZ Utilities that hands server owners a complete dungeon toolkit for DragonMineZ. Drop down Advanced NPC Spawners that spawn any entity with fully custom stats, ki attacks, behaviour, scale and model, disguise them as ordinary blocks, and pay out Training Points, Zeni, and custom item drops on every kill. Warp players into a dedicated, protected dungeon dimension, lock down PvP and block-destruction rules live, and paste prebuilt WorldEdit schematics straight into the world. Everything is built and tuned in-game through a clean editor GUI that matches the rest of your DMZ addons, and saved right into your world — no config files, no restarts.
✨ Features
👾 Advanced NPC Spawners
Place an Advanced NPC Spawner and point it at any registered entity, from a vanilla Zombie to a DragonMineZ NPC. Give it a custom display name and dial in Max Health, Melee Damage, Movement Speed and Defense through vanilla attributes, so the same block can host a trash mob or a mini-boss.
🔮 Deep DragonMineZ NPC Options
When the spawned mob is a Shurui's DMZ Utilities NPC, extra tuning unlocks: give it a DMZ fighter's Moveset (Frieza, Cell, Buu, Androids, …) and an AI Tier so it teleports, dodges and blocks like a DMZ saga fighter, toggle its Ki Attacks on or off, set Ki Power for ki damage, choose a Behavior (Passive through DMZ Fighter), scale the model, and select a custom model. Non-NPC entities simply ignore the extra options, so any mob is safe to use.
⚙️ Full Spawn Control
Spawners activate at the server's render distance — as soon as a player can see the area, it starts working. Set the spawn amount (max mobs alive at once from each spawner), the cooldown between waves, and a wander distance that keeps spawned mobs tethered near their spawner. Flip the whole spawner on or off with a master toggle, and gate it behind spawn conditions: a time-of-day window (Day / Night / Morning / Dusk), the weather (Clear / Rain / Thunder), or a redstone signal — wire spawners to levers, daylight sensors, anything. Editing a spawner resets its mobs (Pixelmon-style), so stat changes never leave stale NPCs behind, and spawners can only be opened in creative mode — disguised blocks stay sealed mid-dungeon. Build a slow-trickle guard post or a swarming arena from the same block.
👑 Boss In The Mix
Give any spawner a boss: its own entity, name, health, melee damage, ki power and scale — or point it at a saved Custom NPC for a fully-dressed fighter with custom model, moves and animations. The boss rolls on a configurable chance each spawn wave, one alive at a time, alongside the regular NPCs, and pays the same kill rewards. Boss spawns require Shurui's Key on the server.
💰 Training Point, Zeni & Custom Drop Rewards
Every spawner can pay out on each kill: a random Training Point reward in a min–max range (through DragonMineZ), a random Zeni balance reward in a min–max range (through Shurui's DMZ Utilities' economy), and any number of percentage-based custom item drops (item picked from a searchable dropdown, or copied straight from your hand with full NBT — enchants, names, and modded data included), each rolled independently. Kills also fire configurable console command rewards (%player% = the killer), and the entity's own loot-table drops are suppressed by default so players get exactly what you configured — a per-spawner toggle restores them. Missing mods degrade to no-ops, so rewards never break your world.
🎭 Spawner Disguises
Disguise any Advanced NPC Spawner as an ordinary block (stone, a crate, anything you like), so players never see the spawner coming. Operators can reveal every hidden spawner nearby at a glance with /sdd highlight <radius>, which makes them glow for ten seconds.
🌌 Dedicated Dungeon Dimension
Ships with a self-contained dungeon dimension to build instanced content away from your overworld. Warp players in with /sdd tp, and manage the space with a full dungeon manager GUI (/sdd edit).
🛡️ Live Dungeon Rules
Flip dungeon-only rules on the fly, no restart: toggle PvP and toggle whether ki blasts and explosions can break blocks. Rules are server-authoritative, saved with the world, and scoped to the dungeon dimension — they never touch your overworld or other DMZ dimensions.
📍 Named Warps
Save reusable teleport points anywhere with /sdd setwarp <name>, jump to them with /sdd warp <name>, and manage the list with /sdd warps and /sdd delwarp. Perfect for hubs, boss rooms, and staging areas.
🗺️ WorldEdit Schematic Pasting
Paste any WorldEdit schematic at exact coordinates with /sdd paste <schematic> <x> <y> <z> to assemble dungeons from prebuilt rooms. WorldEdit is an optional dependency — everything else works without it, and pasting simply logs a no-op when it's absent.
💎 TP Gems
Six consumable TP Gems (1,000 · 5,000 · 10,000 · 50,000 · 100,000 · 250,000) grant DragonMineZ Training Points when right-clicked, perfect as dungeon loot, quest rewards, or shop items. If DragonMineZ is absent the gem is not consumed and the player is told, so no item is ever lost. All six live in the mod's own creative tab.
🛠️ Getting Started
- Craft or grab an Advanced NPC Spawner from the Shurui's DMZ Dungeons creative tab and place it.
- Right-click it to open the editor: choose the entity, tune stats, ki options, spawn amount and cooldown.
- Add rewards — Training Points, Zeni, and any custom item drops with per-drop chances.
- (Optional) Set a disguise block so the spawner blends in, and use
/sdd highlightto find them later. - Warp into the dungeon dimension with
/sdd tp, set your rules with/sdd edit, and paste rooms with/sdd paste. - Save named warps for your hub and boss rooms, then open the doors to your players.
All spawner editing and dungeon management is operator-gated and server-validated, so these tools are safe to hand to trusted staff. Command root is /sdd.
