Seamless Ores

Ore blocks that match the stone they generate in: granite, diorite, andesite and tuff, plus basalt and blackstone in the Nether. No extra ore, the same veins drawn properly. Keeps your resource packs, Terralith and ore datapacks working.

What's new

Now on Minecraft 1.21 and 1.21.1

One file covers both versions, on Fabric, NeoForge and Forge.

Mythic Metals, 68 new blocks

This is the largest addition the mod has had, and it is the most requested one.

With Mythic Metals installed, 132 blocks. Adamantite, aquarium, banglum, carmot, kyber, manganese, midas gold, morkite, mythril, orichalcum, osmium, palladium, platinum, prometheum, quadrillum, runite, silver, starrite, stormyx, tin and unobtainium all get backgrounds that match the stone they generate in.

Most of it is a pure restyle with no balance change at all.

Some of its ores never generate in tuff, only in stone, granite, diorite and andesite, so those get three versions rather than four. Adding a tuff one would be inventing ore that does not exist. Orichalcum and stormyx already ship their own seamless versions for tuff and blackstone, so those are left alone.

Midas gold, palladium, stormyx and nether banglum only generate in netherrack, so their basalt and blackstone versions add ore, exactly like vanilla gold and quartz do. They use the same toggles.

Drops are untouched. Aquarium still has its chance of pearls, banglum still drops chunks, carmot still drops carmot stone, and the amounts are identical, because the drops come from Mythic Metals' own loot tables rather than being rebuilt.

Stormyx and unobtainium animate, matching the ore they stand in for.

A new config section

Mythic Metals gets its own on and off switch, alongside the existing four sections. Sixteen settings in five sections now, worded the same on every loader.

Everything else

Unchanged from 2.0.0: Overworld generation identical to vanilla, the two layer models that keep resource packs working, full tag, loot, XP and mining level parity, bastion protection, and the Nether dials.
