A religion mod with actual gameplay, built for worldbuilding and roleplay servers.
Found a religion. Recruit followers. Grow your influence. Rexligion turns "faith" into a real, mechanical system your players can compete, cooperate, and build stories around — not just a cosmetic label.
Features
- The Sacred Altar — the heart of every religion. Right-click to view existing religions, found your own, and manage everything from one place.
- Ranks that matter — Prophet, Priest, and Layman each have real, distinct permissions and responsibilities. Rename them to fit your own lore.
- Piety — a shared, growing currency for your religion. Earn it through daily Confession or by Sacrificing valuable items at the Altar.
- Miracles — spend Piety to Pray for a Miracle. The stronger your religion, the better your odds — bless your whole congregation with rare items or powerful buffs.
- Holy War — declare war on a rival religion. Kills earn your religion Piety; losses cost you. Let your Piety hit zero during a war, and your whole religion suffers for it.
- Faith & Discipline — ban or bless specific items. Banned items cost your religion Piety when used; blessed ones reward it.
- Holy Relics — consecrate a treasured item into an indestructible relic and store it at your Altar for a lasting bonus. Guard it well — a stolen relic drains your religion until it's recovered.
- Sacred grounds — surround your Altar with valuable blocks to boost your religion's power, beacon-style.
- Symbols with weight — your religion's symbol and color appear next to your name in chat and the player list.
- Full admin toolkit — an in-game config menu plus a complete command suite for server admins to manage every religion, member, and war directly.
- Built-in guidebook — every new player gets a short, friendly primer the moment they join.
Planned Future Features
- Crusader NPCs — hostile followers who defend their faith, whether guarding sacred ground or answering a Holy War's call.
- NPC Religions — preset, world-generated religions players can discover, join, and eventually lead.
- World Structures — dedicated shrines and strongholds tied to each religion, discoverable out in the world.
- Finished Altar Model — a fully custom, polished altar to replace the current placeholder.
- Shrine System for Relics — dedicated relic shrines beyond the Altar itself.
