Resized lets you change your size relative to the world, and lets every block be divided into a grid of tiny cells you can chip away and place back, with no extra tool. Everything can be configured in game.
Player scaling
Resize yourself from tiny to giant. Hitbox, eye height, reach, speed, jump, step height and fall damage all follow your size, and it is saved with your player. Use /resized scale <size>, or [ and ] to shrink and grow and \ to reset.
Micro blocks
- Press M to switch micro interaction on. Left-click chips the cells under the crosshair, right-click with a block in hand places cells. Sneak + right-click still places whole blocks.
- Choose your own partition (2 up to 1000 divisions per block edge) and brush size. The outline shows the exact cells a click affects.
- Sync (N): the partition follows your size, so one cell keeps the vanilla block-to-player ratio. Get smaller and the cells get finer.
- Banked volume: what you chip away is banked as a fraction of a block. Whole blocks are paid out, the rest stays banked and can be placed again at any partition.
- Efficient storage: only the differences are stored (a sparse octree). A 1000x1000x1000 block with one cell removed is about 80 numbers. Blocks you fill back in become normal blocks again.
- Carved blocks keep their vanilla textures, and break particles scale with the size of what you chipped.
Realistic world (optional, off by default)
Taller trees with wider canopies, larger caves, real-life mob sizes and larger dropped items. Every value, including a per-mob size table, is configurable.
Settings
Open Pause menu → Resized Settings... (or press O) to configure everything: player size limits, partition, brush, sync, drop mode, cooldown, particles, world scaling and per-mob sizes. The same options are in config/resized.json.
Performance
Each feature can be switched off. A disabled feature applies none of its code changes and registers no events or renderers, so it costs nothing.
Requirements
Minecraft 1.20.1, Fabric Loader 0.15+, Fabric API, Java 17+. Install on both client and server.
Notes
- Feature switches need a restart. Realistic-world changes affect newly generated chunks.
- Shader packs have not been tested.
