Description
RECLAIM
A Relic you place. Put the thing back into the pieces it came from.
RECLAIM is a Relic table. You find it. You do not craft it. Place it in the world, then open it.
Put a pristine crafted item on the table. If the recipe is unique, the Relic shows the ingredients. Under the lapis slot it shows x2, x3, … — green if you have enough, red if not. Disassemble (furnace arrow, then confirm) returns the pieces to your inventory (overflow drops on the ground, like vanilla). The table stays where you put it.
It is not silk touch for NBT. Damaged tools, enchanted gear, filled shulkers, written books, maps, and items with custom data are refused. If two recipes could explain the same item, it refuses until a datapack override picks one. Wood tags return oak.
Break the table: it returns to your inventory. Contents left on the table drop.
How to use it
- Place the Relic, then open the table.
- Input left, lapis under it with xN (green / red), ghost 3×3 preview, Disassemble below.
- Put the item in: the multiplier appears under lapis. No lapis, no job.
- Creative skips the lapis cost.
Lapis cost
The job costs the highest tier among recovered materials, times the recipe batches (cap 64). Datapacks can override per item in data/*/reclaim/costs.json.
| Recovered material | Lapis / job |
|---|---|
| Wood, stone, leather, stick, coal, glass, wool | 1 |
| Iron, copper, redstone | 2 |
| Gold, blaze rod, ender pearl, quartz | 3 |
| Diamond, emerald, amethyst | 4 |
| Netherite, nether star, echo shard | 8 |
Item overrides: beacon / conduit / end crystal 8, enchanting table 4, anvil 2.
Examples: chest 1, iron pickaxe 2, diamond pickaxe 4.
Where it drops
Rare. About 4% per matching chest:
- Village weaponsmith
- Village toolsmith
- Village armorer
- Village mason
- Abandoned mineshafts
No recipe. Creative inventory still has it for testing.
Numbers (cooldown, batches) live in the server config. Datapacks can add mappings, recipe overrides, a cost table, and a non_reclaimable tag.
What it is not
No crafting. No salvage of damaged or enchanted items. No furnace, stonecutter, or smithing reverse. No “pick the convenient recipe” on a tie. Not a hammer. Not Enchantment Workbench. Not a charge pool.
Compatibility
- Minecraft: 1.21.1

- Client & Server
- Multiplayer supported
- Standalone — no other mod required
Italiano
RECLAIM è una Relic-tavola: si trova, si piazza, si apre. Oggetto integro, ricetta unica, ingredienti restituiti (il pieno va a terra, come vanilla). Danno, incanti, contenitori pieni, libri, mappe e dati custom: rifiutati.
