This mod gives you an ability to remove virtually any item recipe. It works by creating a file "remove.json" under "config/Recipe Remover" directory; this file is parsed on server start for removal statements; all valid statements are then applied to the crafting manager and the console will show "Removed recipe: <recipe id>" on success.
The statement file has a following pattern:
<mod id> : "items" : <array of item ids to remove the recipes for> "from" : <array of recipe serializers to remove the recipes from>, <mod id 2> ...
All registered recipe serializers' identifiers are shown once in the console on server start.
An example of the file: remove.json. This example shows how to remove recipes of stick and baked potato (note that the "all" word instructs the mod to remove all recipes of the specified items), iron ingot from blasting furnace, gold ingot from smelting and shapeless crafting; and some recipes from mod with id "generators".
Note the statements under "rr" key - it instructs to directly remove specified recipes by their ids. "rr" is a reserved keyword, under which special instructions will be made.
You can install this mod on a server without clients needing it. If some client does have this mod installed, the server will override his recipes anyway. The mod is usable both in singleplayer and multiplayer modes.
If the console shows:
[Server thread/ERROR]: Tried to load unrecognized recipe:...
then it is normal, you can ignore those.
Some recipes from mods can not be disabled, depending on their implementation; in this case Recipe remover will log a warning "Unable to process recipe [recipe id] ...".
