Radiance 0.1.6-alpha Changelog
Compared with 0.1.5, this release introduces frame generation and additional mod integrations, alongside improvements to visual quality, performance, and stability.
- Added DLSS and FSR frame generation, with selectable modes and multipliers based on hardware support.
- Added an NRD + DLSS Super Resolution pipeline and improved FSR 3 and DLSS Ray Reconstruction stability.
- Added ray-traced distant terrain through Distant Horizons, plus Flywheel / Create and Sable integrations for supported Minecraft versions and mod loaders.
- Improved the Advanced shader pack's day and night lighting, atmosphere, volumetric lighting, clouds, fog, and exposure. Added wet ground effects during rain.
- Improved water waves, refraction, and underwater rendering. Made light transmission and shadow tinting consistent across transparent materials.
- Improved NRD denoising and responsiveness to lighting changes, reducing reflection flicker, bright noise, and motion ghosting.
- Optimized chunk loading, entity rendering, and geometry caching to reduce redundant work and resource allocations.
- Fixed missing block geometry, incorrect render layers, and transparency issues during item pickup.
- Fixed occasional blue and magenta flashes when switching rendering pipelines or dimensions. Improved GPU resource synchronization and runtime stability.
- Improved UI rendering, window resizing, and resource reload compatibility.
- Refined quality presets, setting descriptions, and reset controls. Fixed shader pack settings not following the selected game language.
Available for Windows and Linux, covering Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.21.1, and 1.21.4 on Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge — nine Minecraft version and loader combinations.
