Racks n' Stands

Adds functional and enchantable racks and stands

Racks N’ Stands adds customizable armor stands, racks, shelves, and displays for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge. Build an armory, show off your favorite weapons, or turn a collection of treasures into part of your home. Add the Repairing enchantment to keep your equipment maintained while it’s on display.

Choose from 13 craftable designs:

  • A Full Armor Stand, plus individual stands for helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots.
  • Small, medium, and large item racks with three, four, or six slots.
  • A Display Stand that holds weapons and tools horizontally.
  • A Recessed Pedestal for that sword-in-the-stone look.
  • A Wall Display and a six-slot Display Shelf.
  • A versatile Display that mounts on floors, walls, or ceilings.

General displays accept any item, so you can arrange weapons, tools, accessories, blocks, and keepsakes however you like. Armor stands use the appropriate armor slots. Weapons and tools use their in-hand models, and oversized items scale down to fit racks and shelves.

Make the furniture match your build. Hold a block and sneak-right-click the part you want to customize. Parts sharing that material change together, and your sample block isn’t consumed. Give your stands a new wood finish, change the supports, or mix materials on a pedestal’s base, body, and top.

Found a look you like? Craft a customized piece beside an uncustomized stack of the same stand or display to copy its appearance to the entire stack. The original stays reusable, and enchantments aren’t copied. Craft a customized piece by itself to restore its default appearance while keeping its enchantments.

Using your displays is simple. Right-click to place, take, or swap an item. Click anywhere on the Full Armor Stand with an armor piece to put it in the correct slot. Sneak-right-click with an empty hand to swap equipped gear; the Full Armor Stand can exchange your whole armor set at once.

Repair your equipment while it’s on display. Apply a Repairing enchanted book to a stand or display in an anvil, then place it and add damaged equipment. Repairing has ten levels, with higher levels restoring durability faster. At the default settings, Repairing I restores 20% of maximum durability per hour, while Repairing V restores 100% per hour. Progress catches up when unloaded chunks load again, using time that passed while the world was running.

Look at an item to see its current durability and estimated time until fully repaired. If Jade is installed, this information appears in its tooltip.

Optional integrations add more ways to use your collection:

  • Curios: sneak-right-click a displayed accessory with an empty hand to equip or swap it into a compatible Curios slot.
  • Rituals Not Rolls: built-in knowledge materials let you reach Repairing V passively with all seven offerings. Consumption and Experience Catalysts can boost ritual power toward Repairing X.
  • Simply Swords, Simply More, Cataclysm, Too Many Bows, and Iron’s Spellbooks: included display adjustments for their weapons, bows, tools, and spellbooks.
  • Immersive Armors and Iron’s Spellbooks: support for their custom armor rendering.

Repair speed, particles, sounds, volume, and pitch are configurable. Displays hold one item per slot by default, with an option to allow full stacks. Saved configuration changes apply while the game is running. Modpack creators can also customize item orientations and display rules through datapacks.
