QuantaVolt (BETA)
Industrial power generation: from a small dynamo to turbines, fission, fusion, an artificial star and black holes. Works on Fabric and NeoForge.
BETA – QuantaVolt 0.1.0 is a public beta. Every plant, recipe and screen was tested on every supported Minecraft version and loader, but some bugs only show up in long play sessions (large bases, plants running for days, many save and load cycles). Please report anything odd on the issue tracker with your Minecraft version, loader and log, and keep backups of worlds you care about. Fixes follow once the first feedback is in.

Why QuantaVolt?
- Build a power industry, block by block. 21 multiblock plants and stores with sizes you choose, from the Industrial Boiler to the Hawking radiation reactor.
- No guessing. The controller screen names the wrong block and its position, and the wiki shows every plant layer by layer with in-game pictures, a top-down map and the parts list.
- Plants that behave like plants. Rotors with inertia, temperatures, pressure and cooling, warnings before trouble and incidents if you ignore them – or safe mode on your server, which turns every incident into a plain shutdown.
- Fits into your pack. Standard loader interfaces for items, fluids and energy (1 E = 1 FE), gases through Pipster, optional Jade, JEI and CC: Tweaked support.

Features
- Start: Basic Dynamo, Energy Cell, tanks, pumps, Stirling generator, thermoelectric generator
- Steam: Industrial Boiler, Steam Turbine, Condenser, Heat Exchanger
- Gas: Electrolyzer (also as fuel cell), Gasifier, Gas Compressor, Gas Turbine, Gas Engine – combined cycle through heat ports
- Renewables: Solar Array, Solar Thermal Field with moving heliostats, Wind Turbine with a turning rotor
- Storage: Capacitor Bank, Battery Hall, Molten-Salt Store, Gravity Store, SMES, Dimensional Store, Large Gas Tank up to 32×32×32
- Nuclear: uranium, lithium and lead ores, fuel chain with Centrifuge Cascade enrichment, Fission Reactor, Tokamak fusion with a visible plasma ring
- Endgame: Little Star, Micro Black Hole Plant, Hawking Radiation Reactor
- Incidents (overpressure, rotor burst, meltdown, plasma disruption, star breach, quench and more) come with warning signs and their own effects. Terrain damage is a server option.
- Radiation and protection: nuclear plants radiate; lead blocks, lead concrete, lead glass and the radiation suit protect, reinforced concrete and glass stand up to incidents.
- Creative Battery and Creative Gas Tank for testing.
Compatibility
- Items, fluids and energy: Fabric Transfer API and Team Reborn Energy, NeoForge capabilities. Cables and pipes of other mods connect directly.
- Gases: Pipster (required).
- Optional: Jade, JEI, CC: Tweaked – started with the real mods on every version where they exist. Exact versions, and the few exceptions caused by the partner mods themselves, are in the wiki under Supported Versions.
- Materials use the common c: tags (checked with Mekanism and Tech Reborn); ores also generate with Terralith and Biomes O' Plenty (checked on 1.21.1 and 26.3).
Versions
Minecraft 1.21.1 to 26.3, Fabric and NeoForge. Some files cover two neighbouring versions, but only where that very file was tested on each of them. Pick the file whose name contains your Minecraft version.
Performance
- Measured on one laptop (Intel Core i7-13700H): 54 running plants and 168 single machines cost QuantaVolt 0.4–1.4 ms per server tick in the median (Minecraft 1.21.1 and 26.3, both loaders).
- A measurement, not a promise for every server. Details in the wiki under Performance.
Requirements
- Pipster (both loaders).
- Fabric: Fabric API.
- Install on both client and server.
