- Optimized the way elements and frames are rendered to require much less calculations.
- The Alt screen has been completely reworked for a more intuitive UI.
- Presets now store positions and scaling inside the active frame.
- Added support for infinite durations on potion effects.
✅ Fixes
- Fixed an issue that caused the armor values to be synced incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue where text renders for some colors were too dark in the CastBar element and on the effect element tooltips.
⚠ Things Missing in 1.20 (for now)
- Mod support for other mods. Only supports Iron's and JEED right now.
- Preset Editor. You can try and use presets from other versions by putting them in active-preset.json in the config folder.
- Party Persistence. Parties will have to be reformed after server shutdown.
- Vanilla/Mod Overlay disable. This system is being moved to another mod dedicated for this.
⚠ IMPORTANT ⚠
This version is still in development and will receive patches quite frequently. As a major update, once fully released, this version will not be compatible with previous versions (including patches) as a rework of several internal systems is being made.
The preset system will allow for the party and player frames to have different presets, but this system is still a work in progress.
The only preset file that is read is config/sedparties/active-preset.json, and it has an option for preset, position, and scale of each type of frame. (First being player, second being party). Players can place presets from older versions here exported from the preset editor (1.18, 1.19).
Since the rewrite is still in progress, it is recommended that presets utilized from previous versions are the same for both entries in the active-preset.json file, or at the bare minimum, have the same "General Settings" values in the old preset editor (width, height, and offset values) If not the case, THE UI WILL BREAK.
