Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
[1.11.1] - 2026-09-05 (Minecraft 26.2)
Added
- Allow Tool Break (Config → General,
allowToolBreak, default off). Vein and tunnel mining keep charging the tool until it breaks, same as mining by hand. Once it breaks, mining stops. - Vanilla Mining Speed (Config → General,
vanillaMiningSpeed, default on). Each vein block takes as long as it would if you mined it yourself. Wooden pickaxe on iron ore: 2.5 s per block. Netherite: 0.75 s. Efficiency and Haste speed it up like normal. Before this, every block was capped at half a second no matter the tool, so a wooden pickaxe cleared a vein almost as fast as a diamond one. Turn it off to get the old timing back. Tunnel modes still clear the whole slice in one swing.
Fixed
- My mistake: tools never broke. Vein mining stopped charging a tool once it got near the end of its durability, so a pickaxe could sit at 1 forever. Worse, with Auto-Collect on, the block you hit could still take that last point. Both paths now check the same limit, and Allow Tool Break turns the limit off.
- Blocks with no hardness (grass, torches, flowers) no longer cost durability. Vanilla does not charge for them either.
