OreClumps
Add raw materials for vanilla and modded ores!
Features
- Raw Adamantium, Aluminium, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Gold, Iron, Lead, Mythril, Nickel, Osmium, Platinum, Silver, Thorium, Tin, Titanium, Tungsten, Uranium and Zinc are dropped from their respective ores
- Raw material blocks
- Allowing ores to drop xp as well as the raw ores (1.19+)
How to change which ores drop which raw material?
The raw ore drops are powered by Global Loot Modifiers and can be changed by overriding data/oreclumps/loot_modifiers/raw_<type>.json where type is the ore type.
The loot modifier for raw copper is shown below:
How do I make an ore drop xp? (1.19+)
You can add the "xp_min" and "xp_max" integer fields to the loot modifier to add a random chance of dropping experience between the min and max values.
Can I use this in my modpack?
Of course!
Have an issue?
Just let me know using the issues tab!
Hope to see this on 1.19.3 as well! :) its nice seeing modded ores look like everything else ty!
can you post screensots of the ores clumps? and can you tell us which moded ore the mod support
Hey, do you have any plans on porting to 1.18.2 first then possibly 1.19/1.19.1?
Why I ask if you're planning on porting to newer versions is cause I'm purging my subscriptions on curseforge by unsubscribing from mods that haven't been updated/ported for a year or more.
So that my subscriptions won't be too many mods as well as my notifications wouldn't have more than 20 or else I would have to look in my subs in my profile to find whichever mod had recently been updated since some of the mods that I play with uploads multiple different file formats of the same update to their mods which fills up my notifications...
Hello, I have a problem with my server of aternos: when i generate a new chunk for the new ores, the server just chashes
In reply to aldegundec:
That's probably just Aternos- they aren't the best
Hello, can I modify the textures from your mods so I can use it for kubejs custom item?
Love the mod. Keep up the epic work!
Hello, good afternoon/evening, I am a creator of Minecraft Bedrock, I wanted to ask you if you want me to port your mod or would you give me permission to port your mod to minecraft bedrock (Obviously giving credits), thank you very much for your attention and I will wait for all kinds of answers
could you also make raw forms of alloys as well in case we want to use them for crafting recipes, such as mixing two raw metals to get the raw alloy
could you add a version with only the raw ores? It's annoying having to remove the recipes from the blocks and ingots, and there's no point in having them if the raw ores are only meant to serve as raw versions of modded ores.
In reply to nixity_null:
I was actually going to request the same. At least a config. Love the mod, but yeah - I had to use a separate mod to remove and modify recipes, as it didn’t hook into the ones present.
Love the mod, it is a must have for mods like Subterranean Wilderness, which add like 10 different versions of the vanilla ores, which makes your inventory a mess. I would highly appreciate some sort of config for altering the drops (raw_gold for example doesn't work as I wish it would, as in the .json it only affects minecraft:gold as to not mess up nether gold dropping nuggets), as I have spent a long time trying to overwrite the loot_modifier, and cannot seem to figure it out.
In reply to epsilonexe:
Thank you for your kind words! Potentially consider creating a new block tag to store all of the gold ores you want to override and use that tag in the loot modifier similar to how copper works?
Thank you very much for this mod. Was looking for something like this. Much appreciated.
Is it possible to add a config file to disable ore clumbs from specific ores (for 1.16.5?
In reply to t3chdelicious:
You should be able to override the replacement using a data pack by setting the replace string to empty for the ore type you wish to stop overriding however that might be quite involved. I may look into adding a config file to make this simpler :)
In reply to CJMinecraft01:
Thank you very much for the reply. Never dealt with the creation of data packs but I can tutorial me into this topic :D Thanks for this tip.
It's of course really great to read that you consider so make an update. That would be absolutely lovely. If it should be like that, much thanks in advance!
And again - much thanks for this mod :)
Fantastic! I did something similar for Fortune before vanilla switched over to "Raw" drops and I was considering doing something like this for 1.18+, but now I don't have to lol
Any recommended ores mods for 1.18 to use along with this mod???
Is there a way to turn the raw materials to an ore block type? A mod I have requires the ore block form to trade with.
In reply to ItsMeOneTwoNine:
Hi there! What do you mean by an ore block type? Like a block of raw iron? :)
