Ore Detector Reborn 3.0.0 [Fabric/Quilt] [26.3]
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Grinding
Sneak and right click a Grindstone, empty handed or holding the material, and a menu opens with one input and one output. No more shears in the off hand. A plain right click still opens Repair and Disenchant, so the grindstone keeps its usual job.
What a bottle is worth
A millibucket is now one ore reported, the same for every material, so the tank is a count of finds rather than a volume. Rarity moved into what a bottle carries: 165 for coal, copper, zinc and tin, down to 12 for ancient debris. Brewing costs about what it did, but an expensive ore is no longer rationed to a few dozen finds however much of it you have brewed.
The tank is 500 finds across at most five ores.
The rest
- Every scan outlines the box it swept, through the rock, hit or miss, so the reach and the column are visible rather than being a tooltip fact.
- A scan that finds something grants Haste while the X-Ray Goggles are worn, stronger on a single loaded liquid.
- Anvil repairs no longer climb. The prior work penalty is cleared, so neither tool can be priced out of being fixed.
- Energized Power tin and Powah uraninite are detected and grindable.
- The Resonance Cauldron counts exactly what you put in instead of rounding a drain up to a quarter.
- Pouring and draining take time in proportion to what moves, with a config option for both.
- Beep subtitles now tell a hit from a miss.
- The goggles are called X-Ray Goggles.
26.3, 1.21.11 and 1.21 to 1.21.1
3.0.0 now also runs on these versions, and on Forge for 1.21.11 and 1.21 to 1.21.1.
- Two new config options: how long the ore highlight stays up (12 seconds by default, 1 to 60) and how long the scan outline stays (2 seconds, 0 turns it off). On a server, the server's setting counts.
The Tome of Resonance now covers 26.2 and 26.3 as well, on Modonomicon, where 26.1.x uses Patchouli.
