Opis is a server profiler for Forge server.
It provides a set of commands to get timing for entities and tile entities. Once the server is profiled, it will display the results in a nice list and allow you to teleport directly to the source of lag to check it out.
It comes packed with MapWriter to support the display of the locations and quick teleportation.
Just wanna say this is one of the best mods ever made. I am a modpack dev and a server manager and this helped me solve so many issues over the years. This year I moved into deving modpacks for 1.12.2 and now I feel completely blind because no tool in 1.12.2 comes even close to what OPIS was is for 1.7.10.
Any chance that OPIS will be ported to 1.12.x or newer version? I know that it is quite low-level mod and it might be hard :/
Thank you for your hard work on this one. It will help me alot. For sure.
Thank you again.
I installed the mod, but it's displaying a second mini map over my other mini map. Is there a config option to disable this?
Using minecraft version 1.7.10 and opis version 1.2.5
Please, Prof! I know you're working for real, but we desperately need this for 1.12!

Check out Lag Goggles here on Curse.
Hello, I activated the remote console (wanted to see, what it does, because there is no wiki currently): B:opisrcon.active=true
S:opisrcon.password=(left this blank because I have no idea if I have to hash it, maybe works withpout a password)
I:opisrcon.port=(my port number here, different from MC, don't want to post it public)
The problem is, I can't connect to this port. It is closed, even tried to telnet into it directly from the server minecraft is running on. How does this work?
any alternatives to this for 1.10.2? got an issue with my server and i just cant narrow it down
I'd like to know if there's a 1.10.2 alternative too.
I hope this mod will be updated to 1.10+ as it is an extremely useful mod unmatched by anything else (that I know of).
A list of available commands would be handy imho :P
Will this work with 1.10.2?
game version 1.7.10
Does this need to be installed on both the server and client?
Yes
