OpenBlocks Unofficial Build smarter, travel farther and bring more useful gadgets to your world. This unofficial modern port brings OpenBlocks gameplay to Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge.

What's inside Building and decorating: elevators, building guides, scaffolding, painting tools and canvases. Storage and automation: fluid and XP tanks, vacuum hoppers, bottlers, automatic anvils and enchanting tables. Travel and companions: hang gliders with thermal lift, cranes, luggage and Mini Me. Recovery: graves, inventory backups and operator recovery commands. Mapping and collecting: layered maps, cartographer assistants, projectors, trophies and utility enchantments. Installation Requires Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.252, Java 21 and the exact matching version of OpenModsLib Unofficial.

Place both mod JARs in the mods folder on your client and server. No OpenPeripheral mod is needed.

Optional extras CC:Tweaked: computer controls and the magnet turtle upgrade. Tested with version 1.120.2. Patchouli: an illustrated guide. Tested with 1.21.1-93-NEOFORGE; a vanilla written-book guide is available without it. Both are separate, existing mods. Neither is required for normal gameplay or bundled with this project.

Compatibility The 1.0.0 unofficial release is a modern port, not a drop-in conversion of the original mod. Legacy world migration from Minecraft 1.7.10 or 1.12.2 is unsupported. Back up existing worlds before changing mods.

Some mechanics use modern equivalents: villages use beds and points of interest, cartographers scan loaded chunks, and cranes restrict complex cargo to supported types. Some text may fall back to English. Compatibility with every modpack or shader pack is not guaranteed.

Do not install another OpenBlocks version or port using the openblocks mod ID alongside this one.

Credits and license Original mod: OpenBlocks by the OpenMods Team, including Mikee, NeverCast, boq and Lyqyd. This port also builds on OpenBlocks-Reborn by lingmu, with additional gameplay restoration and fixes.
