Ever played on a multiplayer server, built near other players and when returning from the Nether, surprisingly found yourself in another player's base? It's because of the 8:1 block ratio between the Nether and the Overworld. It's really weird though that you enter a portal in the overworld, and then when going back through where you came, come out of a different portal in the overworld. This mod fixes that issue.
It keeps track of what portals a player went through in order to ensure correct destinations when the player is going back through the same portals. The 1:8 ratio remains, portals just get smarter and remember where you came from.

Features
- As long as players use the same portal to return to the overworld, they will end up where they came from
- Only needs to be installed on the server (but works in singleplayer as well)

Is it possible to disable the server console messages? Specifically the "Return portal found, redirecting! :)" and
"Storing return portal from ResourceKey[minecraft:dimension / minecraft:the_nether] to class_2338{x=-2, y=86, z=-864} in ResourceKey[minecraft:dimension / minecraft:overworld]" messages because they clog up the server console. If it requires rebuilding the jar I may be able to do that as well but it would be awesome if there was an option for it.
Hey question i noticed that you have a 1.18.1 version of this but for forge are you going to make it for 1.18.1 if not do you know if the 1.17.1 version works too?
update please 1.18.2 fabric
Hi,
Thanks for the update. Big work time in modders these days.
Is this mod is usefull in singleplayer too? I wonder that since that kind of "problem" occurs in SP too.
edit: + big thanks for the Fabric portage.
In reply to YoyoLePutois:
Yes, it works in singleplayer too
In reply to BlayTheNinth:
Cooooool. Thank you. Was a real pain to move our portal to make them vanilla connected.
