Some things fell out through the cracks of the dream.

Not monsters. Memories. Iron still warm to the touch. A book someone left on your pillow.

We gathered these fragments from the dust and pieced them back together.

This is their story.

🧩 Fragment I · The Iron That Drinks Light

I found four pieces of metal in the workshop ashes. They weren't iron. Not gold. Not any ore the overworld recognizes. They feed on light. On that pale violet energy seeping up from the depths of the dream. * Pickaxe. Axe. Shovel. Hoe. Four brothers. When their bodies crack, you won't hear the anvil ring — you'll hear a suckling sound, like an infant nursing in its sleep. That is Meltdream Energy knitting their wounds shut. * The ring was re-forged too. Now it answers directly to the dream itself, no longer needing to pass through some addon's translation. And the smith who wrote the recipes backwards — putting crystal in the base and the tool in the addition — he finally admitted his mistake. Four recipes, all corrected.

🧩 Fragment II · The Book by the Pillow

Every traveler who sets foot in this land for the first time wakes to find something. A book by their pillow. * Not found. Not bought. The dream slipped it to you while you were still blinking the dark away. Its name is Doremy's Guidebook. If you've been here before but never received it — don't worry. The dream remembers every face. It will make up the missed delivery. It only carves a shallow mark in your memory: pasterdream.guide_book_given. Then it never bothers you again. * If the librarian (Patchouli) is absent, the book simply won't appear. No tantrum. No crash. Just a quiet, polite absence.

• Supports both new and existing saves; NBT flag pasterdream.guide_book_given prevents duplicates

🧩 Fragment III · The Librarian's Mending

The library had caught fire. Not real flame — version numbers. * Patchouli 1.21 changed the grammar of books. The words in the recipes were no longer recognized. We rewrote the synthesis: guide_book plus the patchouli:book component. The books can be crafted again. * There were also faces lost. The face of a weapon. The face of dense ice. The face of fine shadow stone brick. They'd been torn in a copy-paste accident somewhere between versions, leaving purple void behind. We brought them back. Now the stairs, the slabs, the walls — the bricks have their expressions again.

• Recovered lost textures for weapons, dense ice, fine shadow stone brick, smooth quartz

🧩 Fragment IV · The Forge's Cough

The forge once choked on an emoji. * Not a metaphor. The wuyu_doll model file hid a smiley face inside it, and the mineable/hoe tag carried some invisible emotion. The build machine didn't understand these feelings. It gagged. * We dug those expressions out. The forge breathes clean now. * Also, the main branch no longer accepts direct touch. All changes must first walk down a path named after you, then be merged. This is to prevent someone from sleepwalking the whole workshop into ruin.
