How to use:
Put the mod into Minecraft's mods folder.
Find some note block song (.nbs) files and put them into Minecraft's songs folder.
Launch Minecraft Forge and get into any server or world.
Type /nbsplay. You should start hearing some music.
To pause, type /nbsstop. To go to the next song, type /nbsnext. To refresh all songs, type /nbsrefresh.
The mod also has a unique GUI to control. Type /nbsgui or press up arrow to bring it up. Click on a song to play, click somewhere on the timeline at the bottom to seek, or click on the small bar above two buttons to the left to change the volume.
You can also use the down arrow key to play/pause. This key, and also the up arrow key to bring up the GUI, are configurable in Controls menu.
NOTE:
If you play note block songs with 1.12+ instruments (guitar, bell, flute, chime, xylophone) in 1.8, you won't hear those instruments. To fix it, use this resource pack.
This mod is completely client-side, it doesn't send packets or things anywhere (see the source code), so you don't have to worry about being banned on any server for having this in your mods folder...
