Hi!
The name of this mod might sound familiar, and that is because this is a recreation of Lellson8's awesome mod 'More Shearables' (Link to Lellson8's original mod). This mod allows you to shear a bunch of additional mobs, such as cows, chickens, zombie pigmen, and villagers, via a new upgraded version of the Shears called the 'Shaver'. You craft it like so:
In addition to the Shaver, this mod adds two new materials, pig skin and bear hide, dropped by shaving pigs and polar bears respectively. These materials can be use to craft new armor with special effects. The Bear armor allows you to channel your inner strength, and increases the damage of your unarmed strikes. The Pig armor on the other hand makes nearby pigs fall in love with you (but watch out for pigmen).

Also note that you can disable shaving of specific mobs, and change the drop type / drop count in the config file of the mod.
