Ten machines you can throw a leg over: a motorcycle, two scooters (one of them
set up for pizza delivery), a quad, two dirt bikes, two big adventure bikes and
two police bikes.

You don't craft them, you find them. Village house chests turn up a bike about
one time in eight, and a jerrycan or two a third of the time. The police bikes
aren't in villages - those sit in pillager outposts, one in five. Make of that
what you will.

Right-click to get on, steer with your head. Crouch + right-click opens the
dashboard, and you can do it sitting on the bike, so you refuel without getting
off. Ignition is there, and the lightbar if you're on a police bike.

Fuel goes in the slot: a jerrycan, or a lava bucket if that's what you've got.
One jerrycan is one full tank, and they stack, so you can carry spares.

Hold jump and a bar fills. On most bikes that's a wheelie - the longer you hold,
the higher the front comes up and the longer it takes to settle. The police
bikes don't wheelie, they spend it on a shove of speed instead. Same bar,
different job. Bikes that do neither don't show it at all.

They have gears and you can hear them: five or six on the dirt bikes and the
adventure bikes, and the revs drop each time it shifts. The scooters have one
gear and just climb all the way, which is what a scooter does. Machines sharing
a recording are pitched apart - the police bike is a 450 dropped down, the rally
bike is the same 450 lifted up.

Riders lean into corners. The wheels turn on the ground you actually cover, so
shove a bike into a wall and they stop, push it backwards and they turn
backwards.
