MoreTransport : Motorbike

Ten bikes you can actually ride. Scooter, pizza scooter, quad, two dirt bikes, two big adventure bikes, a motorcycle, and two police bikes.

How you get one You don't craft them. You find them. Look in village house chests - about one in eight has a bike in it, and a third of them have a jerrycan or two.
The police bikes aren't in villages: those turn up in pillager outposts, one in five.
Make of that what you will.

Riding it
Right-click to get on.
You steer with your head, same as a horse.
Crouch + right-click opens the dashboard. You can do that sitting on the bike, so you don't have to get off to refuel. Turn the ignition on there, and if you're on a police bike, the lightbar too.
Fuel goes in the slot: a jerrycan, or a lava bucket if that's what you've got. One jerrycan is one full tank, and they stack, so you can carry spares.
Hold jump and a bar fills up. On most bikes that's a wheelie - the longer you hold it, the higher the front comes up and the longer it takes to come back down. The police bikes don't wheelie, they use it as a shove of speed instead. Same bar, different job. Bikes that do neither don't show the bar at all.

Things you'll notice
They have gears, and you can hear them. Five or six on the dirt bikes and the adventure bikes, and the revs drop every time it shifts. The scooter has one gear and just screams all the way up, which is what a scooter does. Every bike sounds a bit different, even the ones sharing a recording. The police bike is a 450 pitched down. The rally bike is the same 450 pitched up.

You lean into corners.
The wheels turn on the distance you actually cover, not on how fast you're supposed to be going. Shove a bike against a wall and the wheels stop. Push it backwards and they turn backwards.

🔧 Build your own machine

Place an Assembly Stand and build your bike part by part: frame, swingarm, engine, exhaust, fork, wheels, handlebars, bodywork, seat.

- A ghost of the next part floats above the stand: green when you hold the right one, red when you don't.
- Right-click to fit a part, crouch with an empty hand to take the last one off.
- The stand's screen lets you pick the machine, names the next part and shows the whole build at a glance.
- The finished machine waits on its stand until you take it. Break the stand and you get every part back.
