0.3.0 — Garage, paint and suspensions

Paint for every bike, 2026-10-15

  • The paint booth now repaints every bike and scooter, not only the two big trails: both dirt bikes, the maxi scooter, the 50cc scooter, the pizza scooter, both police bikes and the quad. Free colour per zone, four finishes, wraps, decal kits, LED colour on those with a light signature, window tint on those with a windscreen. Their stock look is their only livery, and Stock brings it back for free.
  • The quad gets its LED signature, a lid of light under each slanted headlight, and lights the road ahead; and its style parts, rally or comfort seat and rally or touring handlebar.

Living suspensions, 2026-10-15

  • Every bike and scooter now works its suspension: the fork slides on its tubes, the swingarm pivots with its chain, and the shock stretches between them. The frame dives when braking, squats when accelerating, sinks on landings, shakes off-road (much more on dirt than on asphalt) and the fork tops out in a wheelie, while the wheels stay on the ground. The rider moves with the frame.
  • LED light signatures on the police bikes, the maxi scooter, the 50cc scooter and the pizza scooter: a ring around the police headlight, a brow above the police2 lights, a line under each almond light of the maxi scooter, a chevron above the scooters' arrow light. At ignition a comet runs along them, they fill back and breathe once before staying on. The two dirt bikes have no headlight and keep none.
  • Style parts for every bike and scooter, not only the two big trails: rally or comfort seat on all of them, rally or touring handlebar on both dirt bikes and the second police bike, short or tall windscreen on the maxi scooter and both police bikes, road or enduro front fender on all of them. Made at the Workshop workbench with the bike's own dye, fitted in the garage on the lift. A front fender mounted on the fork lowers moves with the suspension.
  • The police bikes and the scooters now light the road ahead, like the big trails.
  • The quad is reshaped as an aggressive sport quad: a pointed beak with a V grille, slanted headlights on each side of the nose, bare front wheels, rear fenders that kick up into points, black heel guards, a long flat seat, long front A-arms and a tubular front bumper. Its suspension works too: each front wheel rides its own A-arms and shock and leans into the outside of a turn, and the rear axle swings with its mono-shock and chain.

Garage, part one: dashboards, keys, engine wear and punctures, 2026-10-14

  • Every bike now has a lit dashboard screen on its handlebars: speed, revs, fuel, condition, and two warning lights (engine and tyres). It lights up with the ignition and reads at night.
  • Each machine has its own key, planted in its ignition barrel. No key in the dashboard slot, no start: take it with you and nobody rides away on your bike. Bikes you already own get theirs the next time they are loaded.
  • Engines wear out. An engine counts its hours under throttle (one hour is a minute of riding; wheelies and boosts count double). Iron engines last 40 hours, steel 60, precision 80. The engine light turns orange near the end and red when it is worn: the bike drops to 40% of its speed and can no longer pull a wheelie or a boost until the engine is rebuilt. The wear lives in the engine item itself.
  • Tyres can go flat: always on cactus, berry bushes and dripstone, and rarely by chance off-road (dirt, sand, gravel). A flat tyre hisses, squashes under the rim and leaves 30% of the speed.
  • Tyre patches (slime ball + leather, four per craft) fix a flat on the spot: right-click the machine. A tyre takes three patches; after that it has to be replaced.
  • The dashboard shows the engine hours next to the condition.

Style parts, 2026-10-14

  • The two big trails get style parts, two per slot: rally or comfort seat (with backrest), rally handlebar (crossbar, round mirrors) or touring handlebar (closed hand guards, big mirrors), short or tall windscreen, touring or enduro front fender. Each is made at the Workshop workbench; for now they are fitted in the garage.
  • The garage of a raised big trail has a Style button. The style screen shows the bike in 3D, turning slowly, with the four slots and how many of each part you carry; hovering a choice tries it on the bike before you pay. Fitting a part takes it from your inventory, the part it replaces comes back, and the stock part is refitted for free.

Paint, 2026-10-14

  • Free paint colour with four finishes (gloss, matte, metallic, pearl) on the two big trails, zone by zone.
  • Park a big trail in the paint booth and right-click it: pick the zones, mix up to three Minecraft dyes like dyeing leather armour, choose a finish, and watch the bike take the colour before you pay. One dye per zone and per dye of the mix, taken from the booth; the bike's liveries are ready-made choices (6 dyes), and the stock paint comes back for free.
  • The paint booth is a block of this mod: a glazed 3x3x3 box with a ceiling gantry robot (beam, trolley, telescopic mast, spray head) and its paint mixer outside against the right wall. Load it with Minecraft dyes, one slot per colour, by hand or hopper.
  • In the paint booth, wraps (carbon, camo, honeycomb, brushed) go over the colour of any zone; three decal kits (racing stripes with a number, flames, checkers) redraw the bike's decals in its own colours (4 dyes); glass and LEDs take the colour of the mix like a zone. Stock paint clears them all.
  • Wraps were redrawn to tile seamlessly over the bike (finer carbon twill, cleaner camo, honeycomb and brushed metal). Without a dye mix, painting only changes the wrap of already painted zones: removing a wrap is free, and the paint screen now opens on the bike's current wrap and says what is missing.
  • Detached wheels are now items with their real 3D model: in the inventory, in hand, and on the Workshop's balancer and tyre changer.

Garage, part two: the lift, 2026-10-14

  • Drive a machine onto the vehicle lift (three blocks long, a block of this mod) and raise it: right-clicking the raised machine opens its garage instead of mounting it. The lift rests low on its base, with a diamond-plate deck and its control post on the side.
  • The lift and the paint booth need no power on their own. With MoreIndustry: Workshop installed they run on Forge Energy, are crafted from its parts, and its cables attach anywhere on them.
  • In the garage, the engine and both wheels are real items: take them out, put them back. A removed engine keeps its hours, a removed wheel keeps its tyre (flat, patches). Only this machine's own engine and wheels fit, and a machine without its engine or a wheel will not start.
  • The bodywork is repaired in the garage with iron plates (10 points) or steel plates (20 points), from the Workshop or any mod that makes them. Repairing with an iron ingot has been removed.
  • The engine is now a separate part of the 3D model: it disappears when it is taken out.
  • Engines and wheels show their hours and tyre state in their tooltip.
  • A machine built on the assembly frame keeps the hours of the engine you put in it, and the state of its tyres: an old engine does not come out new.
