Gamba Machines
Two uncraftable gambling machines. One hands you a random item from the entire game. The other doubles your stack, or takes it.
Neither machine can be crafted.
The Gacha Machine
Insert a Gacha Token and the machine rolls. The prize pool is every item in the game — vanilla, modded, all of it. Whatever you've got installed is in the pool.
Most pulls give you one item. Sometimes they don't:
| Pull | Result |
|---|---|
| Normal | One item |
| ✦ Triple Pull ✦ | Three items at once |
| ★★ Jackpot ★★ | 1% chance. Ten prizes in one roll |
Triple Pulls and Jackpots are announced in chat, so on a server everyone gets to watch you get lucky — or watch you keep not getting lucky.
The Double or Nothing Machine
Feed it a stack. Coin flip.
DOUBLE! — you walk away with twice what you put in. LOST! — you don't.
It works on the whole stack, so the decision gets harder the more you win.
Advancements
Seven of them, tracking exactly how far you've gone:
- Gacha Machine — Obtain a Gacha Token
- One More Try — Spend your first Gacha Token
- Just Ten More — Spend 10 Gacha Tokens
- I Can Stop Whenever I Want — Spend 100 Gacha Tokens
- Three For One — Hit a Triple Pull
- JACKPOT! — Hit the 1% Jackpot and walk away with ten prizes
- That Shouldn't Be In There — Win something the machine really should not be handing out
Your total roll count is tracked as a statistic, in case you want to know the damage.
Notes
- Works with any modpack. The bigger your pack, the stranger the prize pool gets.
- Both machines are uncraftable by design — they're meant to be placed by a pack maker, not farmed.
- The machines are blocks, so they work fine as a server centrepiece, a casino build, or a reward for something else entirely.
